The auto repeating feature is used to keep rest within guidelines as well, for instance, if you want to do 5 sets of 5 with about 3 minutes rest between each set. You would set the timer to repeat 3:30 (3 min 30 sec) intervals 5 times. Starting a set at every alarm would give you approximately 3 minutes rest between sets, and indicate completion of five sets with a different alarm pattern.

This same auto repeating can be used for rest pause training where single reps spaced out at very precise time intervals. This allows the lifter to focus on the lift, rather than watching the clock and counting the reps. Any time interval can be set, and any number of reps, allows user to focus on the lift, rather than the timing or counting of the reps.

The auto repeating function is also good for the lifter that just needs to complete their workout within a fixed timeframe and still complete a specific number of sets. An example would be to start a new set every 90 seconds; this would give approximately 60 seconds rest between sets and allow you to complete 20 sets in 30 minutes, no guessing at rest time, you focus on your workout.
