Question: Eric, Why the l-tyrosine? What do you find that it is doing for you? Thanks.
Answer:
How are you?
As of late, many Metabolic Typing advisors have been sharing some really cool information regarding neurotransmitter testing and amino acid supplementation. I am working on my Neurogistics neurotransmitter certification, but since this is one of the fundamental homeostatic controls of the body it certainly is a big piece to the puzzle of building health.
There are multiple reasons why an individual might benefit from amino acid supplementation and it is something that I want to stress should be done with caution and not haphazardly. Ideally you would want to get with someone that is certified in Neurogistics training; because just like anything else, it is quite specific to the *individual*.
I would recommend to you to take a look at the following article to perhaps get a better idea of what I am talking about.
So, for me-due to my lifestyle, Metabolic Type, etc. I am low in norepinephrine. One of the best ways to address this is by taking l-tyrosine.
Once you read the article, you will totally "get" what I am trying to say here.
Good question!
