About John Barban
John Barban is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a varsity strength and conditioning coach as well as a successful entrepreneur. John has trained with world class level powerlifting teams and athletes at the professional level.
John has his masters in nutritional science and human physiology from the University of Guelph, and further graduate work at the University of Florida where he taught principles of strength training and conditioning in the department of health and human performance. John also has extensive experience developing and formulating nutritional sports supplements, and has worked for some of largest nutritional supplement companies in the world.
John is the author of the trademarked workout system for men called The Adonis Effect which is a exercise system designed around the ideal male proportions as determined by physical attraction research. It combines the principle of the Golden Ratio as applied to the mans body with the evolutionary instinct of women and men to be attracted to and respect the ideal male form.
The book takes you through the story of how Brad Pilon and John Barban arrived at this conclusion and the research that supports it. Along the way you’ll find out about the bizarre bodybuilding and steroid drug culture and how the mainstream fitness media is an intricately spun web of lies that is incapable of ever telling you the truth about anything to do with diet or fitness.
