bar-quickstart

back-pain-dvd-r1This is your speedy introduction and welcome tour to the system. Rick tells you what you need to do and how to get started right away.

This will be an in-valuable time saver to help you dive right in and get started without any delay or questions.

The video portion of this segment will help you determine “What Is Going On With Your Lower Back“. Rick will take you by the hand and walk you through your self-assessment. You can follow along with the online DVD. It will be great. You’ll simply perform a movement that Rick shows you and based on how it feels you’ll know for sure what injury you have.

Rick charges $150 per assessment with his local clients but it’s included in your package. [$150 Value]

comp1

back-pain-dvd-r1

In this component you take simple steps to create an environment in your lower back so your lumbar spine can begin to reshape from a painful state to a pain free state.

There are 5 easy to understand simple steps that you need to do in order to start the reshaping process.

[$150 Value]

comp2

back-pain-dvd-r1The second part of the BR3 method is reshaping the lower back from the outside. Now we are doing things that will continue the reshaping of the lumbar region, with a focus on what we can do to reshape it from the outside from a painful state to a pain free state.

With this compoent, there are only 5 steps that you need to take and the best part is it will only take a few minutes for you to implement. [$29.99 Value]

bar-3

Now we have started the reshaping of the lower back from the inside and outside, the next step is to focus on injury specific exercises. Most therapists do all the same exercises no mater what the lower back injury is but this is not right. About 60% of the exercises are the same for all lower back injuries but the last 40% is injury specific.

back-pain-manual-dvd-grouping-r1

Looking at all back injuries, they fall into four categories: Herniations and Bulges, Sprains and Strains, Sciatica and All Others. Depending on what category your back injury falls into will decide the injury specific exercises that you should do.

At this time you’ll be able to implement exercises and stretches because you have addressed the root cause and not the symptoms.

The Online DVDs explain everything step-by-step. Or you can refer to your handy PDF for a quick reference guide to over 60-exercises and techniques you can start using immediately to alleviate pain and feel better in just minutes. This segment will save you time, money, heartache and ultimately your health when you no longer look to medication and surgery as the only alternative. [$150 Value]

Again if you’d like to win one of the 10 free copies of the new Fix My Back Pain system we are awarding here’s all you have to do is answer the following question in the comments form below….

In 250 words or less explain how you think the Fix My Back Pain system would improve your quality of life.  Tell us why you need access to this information at this point in your life so you can get back to pain free workouts.

The contest is open the entire weekend…so you have until Sunday night October 13th th to get your entry in.  Everyone has the same fair chance to win and every single entry will be read.  Please do not use lack of finances as a reason you want to win.  Thank you and Good luck!

I have been living with sacroiliac joint pain for 6 months, which I can’t seem to get rid off. I’am on my feet/walk for 36 a week for my job, so anything that might help with my si pain would be appreciated.

I have been training for athletics for about 4 years now and constantly having to have time off due to my back getting tight and painful. I have tried stretches and strengthening exercises with no success. If I were able to fix this I feel i’d truly be able to excel.

Hi Rick and Mike, so I am a rugby player and a personal trainer, and all last season I was struggling with an SI joint injury (probably inflamed during a scrum). Man, it even hurt just getting out of my car when I got home after work, let alone trying to play on it! I did a ton of core activation and things were progressively getting better, but it seemed like two steps forward, one step back, and I would re-aggravate it every few weeks. I soldiered on, but then I ended up dislocating both my shoulders. About this time I ran into Fix My Shoulder Pain through another guy’s blog that had linked to you, and I thought, “I need to do this!” After going through the program for a month, I felt way better and now am a total believer in the detailed and helpful system that you provide. Also, as a trainer, I’ve learned so much and been able to help a half-dozen clients, see big improvements with their shoulder issues too! Next rugby season is right around the corner, and I’m working hard for a starting spot, but feeling a little nervous about the physicality because I still have some pain and occasional flare ups. I am confident that Fix My Back Pain will help me achieve my dream of playing high-level rugby and will also help me learn a lot so I can help a lot of other people with back pain! Thanks so much!

Most people don’t appreciate their health until the lose it. I certainly experienced the agony and frustration that comes with back pain after “tweaking” something while working out. I thought I might be able to sleep it off but the pain only intensified which motivated me enough to spend the money to go see a massage therapist. Although I got the benefits of temporary relief from the massage, the discomfort and irritation from feeling constrained in my movements was so bad that I found myself using almost anything to help relieve the tightness in my back, going as far as to using the poles on public transportation to kneed out the knots. No one should be subjected to the sight of a middle-aged man grinding his back onto a pole and groaning in relief. No one. The new Fix My Back Pain program will help improve my quality of life by helping to rebuild strength and flexibility of my back muscles so that I can be an active father. I spend countless hours straining my back while cleaning up the unbelievable paths of destruction that my two young babies leave in their wake. I know that strengthening my back and core will help me handle the physical stresses of trying to carry two babies to the car and put them into the car seats. As for the psychological and emotional stress…I’ll just continue to see my psychologist. Was pointed to you from the Adonis boys…love your work!

Hello Mike and Rick, I always had a lot of friends that competed in powerlifting as I was younger and it influenced me to get into lifting weights at the time but because of the worries of life just a couple years after I ended up getting too busy for the gym and moving away because of work. In this new environment I spent quite a few years spending all day sitting and finally came to the conclusion I need to get back into the gym to return to some level of good health because I could feel it affecting me in many ways. Because I was now getting close to my 30’s at the time I knew I couldn’t handle a bodybuilding style workout anymore. So I started getting into powerlifting like my friends of the past. The problem was that I have lost contact with many old friends and couldn’t seek advice on programs or techniques which led me to searching the internet. Over these last couple years and reading a lot about Westside, Andy Bolton, Ed Coan, KK, Magnus and other top powerlifters and their routines and techniques it led me to make great gains in overall strength these last few years, but what I have also met along the way is injuries, mostly to my back. At first it was my lower back which I soon corrected after reading advice from Andy Bolton and Pavel on deadlifting technique, then it was my upper back which something got pinched hard in my spine in between my shoulders just lifting off from a warm up squat. At that time I couldn’t sleep for days because the pain was so great I couldn’t even lay down so I had to sit in a hunched over position which was the only thing that gave it some relief, my right hand was numb for a couple weeks too. This took a couple months for the effects to finally gradually go away. Then I pinched something in my mid back area doing heavy dumbbell curls on my last set, last rep because I lost my tension which allowed my back to arch. Then there was the time doing the ab roller with plates on my back where I allowed my lower back to arch a bit and pinch something. It seems that something is always hurting my back and I could really use the Fix my back pain system. I already have the Fix my shoulder pain system which has been great for me that has helped me with my shoulder pain that came from benching heavy but now I am constantly plagued with back problems every couple months. I would love to give Fix my back pain a try if you would let me.
    Sincerely Bobby

As a former college football player, I have suffered with back pain on and off for many years. I never got relief from conventional treatments that doctors or physical therapist recommended so I looked to other sources. I have found exercise to be the best option ,and I am always looking to learn more so I can improve myself and help others who may suffer from the same ailment. I believe this information will help get my back stronger, relieve stiffness. and allow me to progress in my workouts.

Always having back and neck pain.suffered and still do suffer from migranes which absolute disable me. is went from specialist from specialist woithout a result.A natural practinoner Banged my disc back in place. But what happen afterward has been a nightmare eversice. I could not walk anymore, My legs do not carry me anymore besides some treadmill wals , which is the biggest progress so far.I became and still become dizzy waling, bending, etc. I could not even lift up my baby anymore as my back is litearally killing me, Playing with my kids or do to my fitness as before is not possible as my back pain and restricted movements kill me. I began to think of taking my life as the pains, and increasing disabilities, like numbs arms, feet, severe vertigo, circulation problems, etc. just kept taking a toll on me. Doctors did not have a clue that i had a slipped disc in my lower back and spinal problems which gave me so much pain and disabled be to bed. Nobody is able too help e neitehr give me any advice. I did research and consulted a homeopathic doctor and was diagnosed and treated for spondylosis of my neck and degeneration of my lower back muslces and damgae done by the natural practioner. What that means for a former nurse and woman who was indendant and loved to go to the gym and did home workouts , you can imagine. Gone through 2 back operations in the past 10 yrs. After every op I recall the doc telling me to lose weight. Never got around doing that, just doused myself in pain medication up untill february this year when my work colleagues introduced a biggest loser competition.I entered the comp not knowing what I would do and just for the sake of entering and not wanting to let my colleagues down. At the same time I came to hear about our corporate triathlon challenge and opted to do the swimming leg of 380m. With only 1 month left for training,I visited the swimming pool on an almost daily basis. I’ve done that and it went fairly well and above my expectations. I’ve also joined our local gym. At the end of the six months I won the biggest loser comp and lost 20.5kg in overall weight. Bought a bicycle with my winnings and am currently trying to maintain my new, sexy me. Still having lower back ache and discomfort at times but very determined to maintain my healthy lifestyle at the age of 43. My whole life I was never actively involved in any sport. I’ve been a couch potatoe for most of my life and am only starting to live now.I’ve also joined the amature athletic club at my work and I’m training for my 1st half marathon. So swimming, cycling and running became part of my life after 43 yrs. Would really love to permanently get rid of my lower backache.

Backs! I am a busy Personal Trainer and painful backs are the single most common complaint my clients list. The majority of my clients are professionals spending hours at a time desk bound and stressed, I have learnt a lot about the subject during my 10 years in the industry but to receive Rick Kaselj advice and information would widen my knowledge and enable me to help my clients further and solve their back pain for good. If I am fortunate to be one of the lucky winners it will definitely be put to good use.

    Hai there!
Just resently Mike send out an email about the wrong way of doing crunches and how to do it the right way and i must say that really helped me because i have been doing it soo wrong (and when i did it my back always made like a big krak sound when i went down with back) now i can improve my style without the risck for getting hurt. I am still young and i am going to be very busy with training cuz i am going to study at The Internasional fitness academy next year and if i was able to get this informastion it would provide me with the best quality of exercise wtays and how to prevent injurys in the future sothat i can have a quiality working without the down point. I ride horse and the information on how to strenthen your back and protect it would also give me the advantage of riding injury free…
    Kind regards EZ

I have been working in the fitness industry, teaching group exercise classes and training clients for 20 years and marathon running for 10 of those. In the last 5 years or so I have been suffering with lower back pain and now sciatica which despite visiting physios, chiropractors, acupuncturists, doing pilates, yoga, you name it I’ve tried it I cannot get rid of the continuous pain in my butt (and back)! I love working out in the gym and studio and of course outside on the roads, but this problem has caused me to enjoy running less and less because of the after effects, stiffness and discomfort. I am close to hitting 50 years of age (although I act like 25) and would like to complete 1 more good marathon before, and finishing with a new PB. Beyond that I would like to continue working out in the gym and studio well into my 60’s and 70’s! If your system works for me then I would be able to pass it on to friends and family who might also be suffering. Please take pity on a late 40 year old female who wants to continue to train hard, play hard without pain!

I already have fix my shoulder, elbow and knee pain which have reduced my pain and improved my quality of life tremendously. I can only imagine how much this book on back pain will add to my stability and how it will help my core. As I age I feel a little more pain and a decrease in my mobility and thus a decreased desire to want to work out. I went from 1 doc to another with no result, 4 years ago I had been daignosed ith a slipped disc which was manual corrected by a chiropracticer. But sadly after that I could not move much around, became suddenly dizzy, had fainting spells, which are a bit better, after applying what i read and saw so far on your blog with diet adjustments. and I honestly belive your programm will halp me to rid the back pain and to enable me to liev at least a pain redused and normal life! I do not want to get psychopharmas anymore as doctors do not know whats wrong!

After having a herniated disk and having it operated on 15 years ago I’ve tried and tried to get into the gym, but to no avail. And had to eventually give up playing basketball. There was always some issue with back pain and exertion headaches. But, within the last year I have been in the gym…exercising through the exertion headaches and back pain. This pain is excruciating and feels like your head is going to explode. I always seem to pull muscles in my back making it hard to wipe my ass! Fix My Back Pain would drastically improve my quality my life from dealing with spine inflammation, to being able to roll over in bed without pain to the aforementioned toilet problems…haha.

Was pinned to a counter by a fork-lift pushing against a trader’s trolley in 1998. The handle of the trolley was against my lower back and the only way to attract the fork-lift driver’s attention was for me to twist and wave to him above the noise of the machine. It took him a while to register what was happening as he could not see over the goods he was transporting so I was pinned there for awhile. This caused ligament and soft tissue damage. I was unable to drive for 3 years and still cannot sit for long periods of time without my right leg going numb. I can also no longer work in a position where I have to stand all day. Was active at the time, doing callinetics exercises. Fortunately my family was complete, so did not have to consider pregnancy in this state! Started road to recovery by lots of rest, doing stretch exercises, trying not to take too many anti-inflammatories and visiting my chiropractor regularly. Do not believe in the success of back operations, so did not even consider this. I sit as little as possible so find it difficult to undertake long journeys. I am 48 years old and am still exercising but not sure if I’m doing the correct exercises for my back. Would like to be completely pain-free and not get pins and needles and feel numb after sitting for awhile. I am sure that the correct exercises would help me.

I was working in construction about two weeks ago, and had to carry theese big 180+ pound fire doors from the delivery truck to the elevatohr. My employer had given me too big gloves, and when I was carrying one of the last ones, my glove slipped off, so to avoid breaking the door, I grabbed it as is was falling, a really bad move, as soon as I caught the door, I felt a sharp sting in my lower back. I am currently on meds to ease the pain, but I really need to Fix My Back Pain!

It hasnt improved much during these two weeks, and since Im only 19 I dont even want to imagine all the things I would have to pass up and ow much more troublesome the rest of my life is gonna be if dont get this fixed.

It was this year, I started out working out seriously. Lifting heavy weights and all that. After a few months, of working out that way (focusing on how heavy the weight is). I didn’t realize that it was damaging my back. I got stronger and stronger but then I realized that I have sacrificed my back (lower back). These days, I have problem in doing some of my daily and normal activities. I always feel lower back pain and it hinders with my exercise and my normal day to day activities. I want to get my back stronger and be able to do the things I used to do. I’ve heard a lot of people suffer from lower back pain for more than 20 years because of lifting. I don’t want to suffer the same fate like them and hopefully, with your program, I could also help them and spread the word.

I am a soon-to-be aspiring personal trainer, and I already get tons of questions on how to exercise with a bad back. I haven’t been able to give much advice since I don’t want to be responsible for an injury. This will be a great read to help the people I will be training to get healthy.
I enjoy learning about all aspects of fitness, and this would be a much needed addition to my arsenal.

I believe that the Fix My Back Pain system would help me to jump the hurdle (excuses) – that my constant back pain has held me back from losing my weight. I know with your professional guidance and with the complementing dvd’s and information provided – I will be on the right track to building a stronger ‘core’. I am 43 and need to take control of my health / fitness level – so that I can spend quality time with my 2 kids and wife … leading a more physically active lifestyle. I know that I would remain focused and committed to your program – as it strengthens my entire back region whilst giving me my youthful body back.

I believe the Fix My Back Pain system will get me over the hurdle (excuses) that I can’t lose any weight due to my constant back pains. Your system looks extremely thorough in helping to strengthen the entire back region and designed to help reduce and eventually eliminate all forms of back pain. I know from research that having strengthened back muscles leads to building a stronger ‘core’. I am 43 years old and have yo-yo’d with my weight over the last decade, so it would be fantastic to take control of my life and enjoy participating in a more physical lifestyle with my 2 children and wife. I strive to have a better quality of life with my family and would really appreciate the professional guidance of your program…. I know I would remain motivated to achieve the results from following the structured dvd’s and information provided.

After a back operation I was told I would never lift again. I refused to believe that weight training would not be beneficial to my back. Worked on my core and had some success. I avoid most movement that involve my lower back and legs. Which need strengthening and look like chicken legs. I have since been training for years and only minor problems until lately. I am looking for additional ways to train that will strengthen my back and help me build up my chicken legs. I have unsuccessfully tried to put on weight but squats only add to the pain and hence my overall frustration. Looking for ways to accomplish my goals. I read some of the comments on the site and think others may need this more than I. But I’m still hoping thanks

I had cervical surgery in 2008 and a right knee partial replacement in 2010.
However till now my back is still sore n my right hand is perpetually numb n tight; my right knee still pain when I walk. All these make exercising difficult. Thus I am slightly overweight. I weigh 83.5kg and am 1.74m tall.
I would love to be rid of the pain and hopefully weaned off the daily dose of 450mg of paracetamol, 35mg of orphenadrine citrate and 300mg of gabapentin.

A friend of mine has severe back pain and has stopped exercising because she is too scared that she will make her back injury worse. I’m entering to win a free copy of this so I can give it to her. She has been such a dear friend to me and I would love to be able to go back to the gym together again. Her physiotherapist has only given her some small exercises and hasn’t given her a weight that she can or cannot lift so she is very confused about how she can make her back stronger without hurting herself. She is a teacher and misses work for days if she makes one wrong movement. I would love to see her be free and loving life again the way she could before.

I am a 63yr old Carpenter and have problems with upper back/neck pain, plus lumber region pain. These problems have been around for over 30 years on and off. I have been to a Chiropractor for periods of time without relief. I often felt worse after a visit to him and could not see the point of continuing his treatment. He stated that because they are old issues, that I may not be able to be fixed. I do flexibility exercises and stretching regularly and it helps but does not fix the problem. I am really just stabbing in the dark with the knowledge that I have. I would like the program to take the guess work out of my situation. Thank you.

    Hello there!
I have started being really interested in how our bodies work and what they are capable of for past two years but I haven’t found proper materials about workouts and exercising dealing with injuries and how to avoid them. It would be really useful to finally know what to do to keep from a bad form in back exercises and to gain and maintain ripped physique without serious health problems because in my case it is a neverending loop of a few week workouts followed by an injury.
Thanks and have a nice day .;-)

I have had sciatica, disc protrusions, sacroiliac joint pains for many years but acute pain for one year (off and on). I have seen chiros, osteopaths, yoga tutors, masseurs, personal trainers etc. All give me detailed stretches to do – which I do do BUT their advice seems to conflict at times. More to the point I have nerve problems in both feet and occasionally (eg after a long drive) I have sudden and severe pain when getting up from sitting down. I am of the age where I have no heavy financial commitments and in fact give my earnings to charity anyway: http://www.justgiving.com/chris-sivewright

Therefore remedying my back would improve the quality of my later years and in so doing allow me to improve the lives of others as my earnings are through teaching (limited because of the amount of sitting down) but my pleasure through the theatre (limited because of the travelling)

Backache makes writing plays etc difficult; mobility limited; tutoring, difficult and despite sports, shows little signs of diminishing

I am on a serious weight fitness mission in my life right now due to several factors. My grandfather, with whom I share many physical traits, died prematurely due to a heart attack. About a year ago I was pushing 300lbs. NowI am almost to my goal, weighing in at 220lbs and working towards being a strong, healthy 205. This system would help me in my goals, as well as making it easier for me to help care for my older brother who nearly lost his life, and has been in a wheelchair since the spring of 1998.

In High School I was a drummer. Weighing about 100lbs. and marching with 45lbs of drum strapped on me took its toll. I have pulled most of the curve out of my spine and neck. Now two babies later (and several years) I have constant back and neck pain. I try to set a good example for my girls by eating healthy and exercising but many times my back is so sore that it is a constant challenge. Fix my Back system would improve my quality of life by teaching me how to improve posture, realign my spine and strengthen muscles to help keep things in alignment resulting in a less painful day. Which would in turn, result in a happier and more productive Mommy!
Thanks so much for your considerations.

I’ve been having back problems almost all my life. I suffer from scoliosis, severe lower back pain and for 5 years I’ve been experiencing issues with my neck, I have pain that goes to my head and even to my eyes. Even worse, I have problems with my hand motorics, my hands are stiff and swollen and I can’t move my fingers properly. My forearms are stiff too and as my neurologist said, it is all related to my back issues (neck). I’m a guitar player and this has serious impact on my playing. Recently I also began having problems with my right leg while driving, like if I was losing sensitivity in it. I do stretching exercises daily and I also began strength training 2 years ago (since I have another health issues, I was not able to continue training for a period of time). I believe I could benefit from your system, as it would – as I believe – give me some new stuff to work with and to think about. I expect no instant effort-free miracles, just work to be done and I hope Fix My Back Pain system could help me to achieve this goal that looks many times so unattainable – to fix my back pain for good. Hope I win 🙂

Your wonderful program would be a blessing to me (injured my lower back seven months ago falling down flight of stairs…90% better now). Actually I am not interested in the system for myself, at this point in time I don’t have any back issues. I a very interested though for my clients. I am a personal trainer & massage therapist. I have watched the members of my local YMCA where I work doing all the same mistakes as seen in the ads, this system would be a great tool to use in helping & teaching them how to avoid future back problems or correct the ones the have now. But it is in the capacity of a massage therapist this information will be most useful. I used to work for a chiropractor as an exercise therapist, more than half the patients that came in had back problems, my job was to teach them exercises to rehab & strengthen their backs. these patents would come in for weeks at a time & and very slow if any real progress. I would love to have the knowledge of something that actually worked rather than the same old routines.

I have had a back injury since high school 1998. Had numerous visits to physio, osteopath, chiropractor and nothing works. I have a relapse every year when it’s so unbearable that I have to take time off work and rest and my job requires bending and lifting. After many trials of ways to better and strengthen my back it’s still the same. Still weak. Still sore. I think the “fix my back pain system” can do what it says. Help me strengthen and improve my back and bring me quality to live my life as normal.

My wish is to live a normal healthy life that I can run around with my kids. And join in the activities that my friends do.
    I I wish ….

I have recently developed a passion for lifting. Over the last year I have started to work on my form for the big power lifts ( squat, deadlift, and bench press). Not having the money to hire a trainer, I have taught myself all of these movements while listening to my body for feedback on my form. I think I could greatly benifit from the “Fix my Back” system, as it would help me keep my workouts pain free as I continue to follow my passion and add weight to these big lifts

Since then I am motivating everyone around me to join the gym and try to convince my female friends to lift weight!

I’m 24 years old, tall and heavy guy from the Military. I’ve started activity very late in my life – in college in fact. Because of that my body is very slow learner, but i’m trying hard. I have problems in my back, mostly during deadlifts and squat, it’s not pain right now, just noticable sensation of “flexing” of whole lower back and it’s very tired even after low weight/low rep training. I’m trying to improve my form, massage, foam rolling, contrast bathing, countless books about strength training didn’t help me at all. I belive that your program will help me to stabilize and heal my problem, because in the future i want to start in BUD/S or other unit’s selection. I will better understand my body, i’ll know how my hamatrings, quads, abs and lower back communicate during training.. Thank you for creating that program.

Three months before turning 52, I suffered my first major back injury. I attribute the injury to ignoring warning signs. While participating in numerous excersice programs over the years, the plyometric program I was doing prior to my injury was just enough to push a disc L5/S1 out of place. With minor discomfort I continued to push myself, and while doing L pull-ups with little or no warm up, I experienced a pain associated with a perforated disc, excruciating. That was 7 months ago. Two epidural injections later and huge modifications to my workout schedule I write this tale. I would try any reasonable program to help get me back, pun intended, to where I was when I felt I could do anything. Kettlebells, TRX, Concept2, jump ropes and endless video programs, all sit with minimal use I am not proud of. Today caution is my life, I would love to regain my confidence. I live with minimal discomfort, but it is constant. Being pain free again one day without more invasive treatment nor medicine would be ideal.

I’ve been dealing with sciatic nerve pain for over 10 years now and I’m only 36. Two years ago I decided to really focus on my health and fitness. Everything was going very well up until last October when I woke up with the worst pain I’ve ever felt shooting down my leg. Walking was next to impossible. I was diagnosed with two bulging discs that were pressing on a nerve. I tried to keep working out and continued to make progress but my pain kept getting worse. I’ve now been through months of physical therapy with nothing to show for it. I’ve had three spinal injections which made almost no difference. I haven’t been able to work out they way I want to and have gained back almost all of the weight that I lost over the past two years. The worst part is not being able to play with my three little girls the way I used to. They think Daddy is a jungle gym and don’t really understand why they can’t do all of the things they used to do. According to the doctors my next step is surgery and I really, really don’t want to do that. I’m really hoping this program does the trick.

I’m 55 years old and with in the last year i just got back into to free weights after years of, well being lazy! I know my form is sloppy I can feel that I don’t bend as well as I use to either. Anything that could help teach me the do’s and don’ts would be very helpful right now.

I’m 46. Three years ago, I had sciatica and two herniated discs at the L4/L5 and L5/S1 (according to my ortho, I have foraminal narrowing and a PARS defect, too). I had to walk with two canes at one point and get steroid injections in my spine. I was overweight and suffered from arthritis. Luckily, I lost 100 pounds through weight training (started slowly with dumbbells and Mackenzie stretches), and the pain eventually disappeared. For a year. Now I do powerlifting, including heavy deadlifts and squats (as well as benches). The pain is different (no sciatica) but similar. It feels like my herniated discs again. The pain is lingering and low, but after a leg day, I can’t bend down and I wake up stiff and in pain. Walking half-hour to one hour each day helps but not 100%. I deload once a month but I want this program to help me relieve the pain from leg day training. Sure, it’s OK to feel sore after heavy lifting, but I don’t want to stop powerlifting because I love it too much. So I want to attack this pain head on before it’s too late with your program.

I am new to fitness this year. Since January, I have lost 45 lbs. and I have literally transformed my body. I have done this basically on my own. Searching the internet…watching other people in the gym, copying what they did. I have had back issues for many years. I thought that maybe losing the weight and getting in shape would eliminate the issue…I was wrong. It seems that since I have been working out, the frequency of my back “going out” has increased. Obviously with everything I am doing right….I am doing something wrong. I have already started doing reverse crunches, planks etc…it seems to be making a difference. I would definitely benefit from the DVD’s. Thanks for the consideration.

I’m a 59-year-old primary care physician with a family history of back problems in my mother and brother and personal history of rowing on the crew team in college. I sustained an initial back injury at that time but in midlife resumed rowing on a routine basis. As I was reaching my absolute athletic peak at 49 years old I had progressive back pain which showed a completely degenerated disc, compressed vertebrae and rather severe nerve root compression. I tried rehabilitation unsuccessfully and had surgery with disc replacement and rods and screws in my back supporting this. I have remained approximately 165-170 pounds and I am 5 foot 11 inches. Over the subsequent 10 years I have had intermittent back pain until severe prolonged disc herniation symptoms of about 6 months before and microdiscectomy last year. Since that time I have had an unstable low back and have tried quite a few different stabilizing exercises and programs. In my practice I see patients with these types of problems all the time, and the best I have to offer them seems to be the McKenzie exercises. I am trying to find the best program to get myself into later life without disability, but also to offer to my patients who face the same kind of chronic problems

I can’t remember a time where I wasn’t as happy as I was when being active. In my teens I decide to get involved in dirt bike racing, as that was the new thing back then every-weekend we would go and race. Compete with other and have a good time. Unfortunately things didn’t stay great for long, I was involved in bike accident where a ride cleared a jump and landed straight on to me. I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis which basically meant that a bone of the lower part of my spine has slipped out of position. Doctor told me that I could get better with rest and prescription drugs but said that playing sport had to be put be to side and that I could never go back to motor biking.I was distraught, as for first time in my life the word ‘never again’ where playing on my mind. Months went by where I just kept away my from anything physical, just sitting in my room.I gained weight and became heavily depressed. Until one day i came across a YouTube video of someone who was in worse condition than i was but still found a way to train. From then i slowly got back into training starting off with body weight and a bit of resistance training build up gradually at times my back so painful that it would put me to knees.Thankfully things are looking better,am studying to be trainer and rebuild my passion for once sports again.I would be great full for this program as it would help to relieve my back pain for good.

I really do not want surgery so I been trying to strengthening my core but ended up hurting my back so had to stop working out again, I’m 51 and don’t wanna be all flabby so I don’t know what else I can do. I would like to not be having back pain & sciatic pain anymore, my life stops when i am hurting. Thanks for any advice!

Hello, I’m 44 years old/young (depending on the day and time) and about 15 years ago I was involved in a four car, chain reaction, straightline accident. I was the first vehicle hit. I was driving my dad’s super sweet 1984 Chevy pickup fully customized by Choo-choo Customs. The main thing of note here is that while vehicles from the 80’s were all steel, they lacked the technology that helped them absorb the impact of a vehicle crash. That said, my body absorbed the full impact of this accident. I was left with disc bulge, herniation, and exagerated degeneration. The doctors I was sent to were totally surgery minded and money hungry. They wanted to get right to surgery. I’ve had paid every day all day since then, but there’s no way I’m going under the knife as long as I can still walk. I will say there are more than enough days when things get super stiff and painfully immobile. Makes me think I know what it feels like to be 102 @ 44. Plus I have a lot of scar tissue which can’t be cut out (as I was told) due to there being too many nerve endings in the area. I feel like humpty-dumpty and my back has never felt the same since that incident. If Humpty could be put back together then surely I can … With the help of the “Fix my back” program. Might I add that (disobedient to doctors orders) I never stopped working out. Initially I was forced to slack off a bit but I never stopped.

Four months before turning 52 I perforated the disc at L5/S1 by doing an L pull up without any warm up. The excruciating pain made me aware that the low grade discomfort I had been experiencing prior was the herniated disc in its sub clinical form. I have been an avid fitness person my whole life, never stopping, always looking for the next challenge. Kettlebells, Suspension training, rowing machines, jump rope, numerous fitness programs on DVD’s. Now after two epidural injections, and great modifications to any excersice routine, I can claim minimal, but constant pain. I live a very cautious life, I would love to resume my old activities without fear and re-injury. I am not interested in any more invasive treatment or medicines. I just want to be able to move without knowing I have suffered from a back injury.

It would be wonderful to win a copy of this system not for my personal benefit but that of a very important group – YOUNG people! In my role as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor I come into contact with various population groups. I mainly deal with very fit adults, obese or injured adults and young people. Injured or injury-free, obese or lean, it is a worthwhile and important aim for me as a fitness professional to address their various issues and try to realign flawed posture and help eliminate lower back pain. However, the emphasis on good postural education is probably even more important for the young people I meet on a daily basis at the various schools I attend as a trainer and boxing coach. Why is it so important? Because a higher number of young people these days carry excessive body fat, are less active, have postural issues or suffer non-specific lower back pain. Fix My Back Pain would be a superb tool to add to my existing tool box which I would use to help hundreds of young people. We need to eliminate back problems and postural issues when they first occur through re-education and through raising awareness of correct technique. I want to catch them while they’re young in order to help prevent potential issues and pain when they’re older.

I’m a single mother at age 46 with three active boys aged 17, 15 & 10. I can no longer keep up with them, and they are starting to notice. About 2 years ago I woke with such severe back pain I couldn’t get out of bed. I could barely stand up straight and any movement caused shooting pain along my side and down my leg. I was literally in tears; and my boys were scared, not something I wanted them to feel because of me. Long story short, I had a pinched sciatic nerve. My doctor gave me pain meds and wanted to send me to a surgeon. I asked him to send me to a physical therapist instead. Luckily he did and I also made it to a chiropractor. It took weeks before I felt better, but surgery was not something a single mom can afford (the emotional cost to my boys, my oldest already bears too much responsibility on his shoulders). Today I still wake up several times a night due to lower back pain. I’ve learned to live with it. I do the exercises the physical therapist taught me in order to walk out the door. But I’m so tired of not being able to bend down to dry my legs after I get out of the shower. I can’t even bend down to pick up stuff I’ve dropped. I hate having my boys see me this way. They need me to be strong for them; I want so badly to be able to run and play with my youngest son. I coached all three of their soccer teams over the past 7 years, but I’ve had to give that up for my youngest son because I just can’t move enough anymore to teach the kids. He was so devastated when I told him I couldn’t coach him anymore; he just didn’t understand how my back could keep me from coaching. I look fine to him, but I’ve learned to hide it. I can’t stand for them to see me in pain.
I want so much to be the active, happy mom my boys deserve. My back pain is the only thing stopping me. Please teach me how to control and eventually eliminate it. I don’t have many years left with them before they move out into the world on their own. I want my boys to always remember me as being there for them in everything. I don’t want them to have to pity me and feel like they have to take care of me. How awful for them.
    Thank you for this opportunity.

I could really use this program to help with the damage done to my spine from being by an IED in 2006. Along with have kyphosis from poor posture growing up, being hit by the IED has caused several of my thoracic vertebra to have a layer of calcium around them to try and prevent more damage. I have done physical therapy and seen chiropractors and still have problems with back pain. I am still in the military and would greatly appreciate an approach to this problem without having to do surgery or rely on more medications.

Having had my first back operation 35 years ago with two subsequent smaller operations to deaden nerves I know from experience that the only long term solution to lower back pain is a strong stomach and to achieve this the correct exercises are required. Very few practitioners, medical, therapists or other experts know the correct exercises, The ones I have tried so far from Mike and Rik are just perfect and I intend to follow their advice. I will continue to maintain the correct weight and. my weekly 6 by 40 minutes exercise routine of weights, cardio, stretching and core training. At 73 I look forward to a continuing full life of work and play free of back pain.

How to sum it up? 1993 hit by a car on my bicycle 5 ‘6″ 167lbs 14% body fat . I was in training for the USMC. 5 back surgeries later I was left in a wheelchair and was told that was it. I had the full meal deal, SSI , blue handicap placard, Medicare , but not my life. I worked hard and by 2000 I was walking unaided, working! Go rid of SSI, blue placard, and Medicare . Late 2000’s became a paramedic loving it, then a short 9 years later fell in a hole on the job, herniated a disc in my neck. Another surgery by a fantastic surgeon this time. Studying to be a nurse but these long shifts on the floor are killing my lower back. That 3 level fusion wasn’t put together quite right. I had what nerves they could find burned but because of metal and scar tissue not many were found. I’m in agony during and after a shift. I just don’t want to hurt anymore. I’ve got my diet on target and family and docs in board. Please guide me, teach me I know I can be better. Thank you

At 70 years old and overweight, I have chronic back problems. I just started a workout program and found, after viewing your video, that I was doing things all wrong. It is important to me to get into shape for the rest of my life. After viewing your video it has become evident that I need not to develop bad habits while working out. It would do me little good at my age to lose weight, tone my musculature, and have my back pain remain the same or get worse.

I have a three-pronged goal: Lose weight, tone up, and end my back pain forever. One is no good without the other two!

Fortunately, I have not had major back issues and I believe this program will help me keep it that way. My only problem is that I have a slouch problem. I am 20 years old and I am studying to become an EMT and work my way up to become a firefighter/paramedic so one could imagine the stress my back will go through. I will have to lift patients on a daily basis. I lift weights and I also box 3-4 times a week so this program will help me in many other fields.
I believe this program will be very beneficial for me because I am studying to get into a field that demands a lot from me and I will be able to train the right way in order to stay healthy and work a lot of years for the CFD.

I had a laminectomy ( l-4, .-5), in 1977. I was Powerlifting at the time, and pushed the disc out so bad, my right leg went completely numb, from the hip to the toe. At the time, there was nothing else that could be done. I was out of work for 4 years. I finally got back into the Gym, and worked out sporadically for a long time. I was working Construction, as a Marble and Granite setter, figured that was enough. Then in 1995, I was helping a friend move an extremely heavy piece of furniture up three flights of stairs, and I got a sharp pain in my hip. It turned out, that I had Degenerative Hip Disease, in both hips. It got progressively worse. My Rheumatologist, and Orthopedic Surgeon, have been trying to get me to have double Hip replacement surgery, for about 8 years now, I refuse, but it gets tougher every year. Since this Hip and Back pain, are intertwined, in that if I get pain in the back, it radiates to the hip. If I could get rid of one, it would help the other. I ‘ve been going strong again, 203 lbs., 11% bf. I ‘am trying to get down to 8% and enter a physique contest, Masters over 60. Pain must go.

Hi. I am sick and tired of waking up every morning with pain in my lower back! May this year, I decided to start exercise again. I do core workouts in order to try and strengthen my back again, but still wake up with pain in my lower back! I also do not sleep well because of it! I have watched some of your videos with tips to avoid hurting your back more and it was realy very helpful so far! It also would be great if I am one of tue lucky ones, because I could also share everything with my husband who has hurted his back when he was a teenager and never had it checked out… and now suffers the consequenses and regularly complains about pain in his lower back! Especialy after returning from his farm duties! Thank you, again, for all your great tips and information so far! Keep it up!

As a D.C. I see alot of folks with back pain, mostly lower back. While I do alot of myofascial work based on the tensegrity model I realize the benefits of proper exercise in reducing the incidence of reinjury. When one is in better physical condition, injuries seem to occur less frequently and recovery can be quicker. I believe this program will help me help more patients; and if they are so inclined I can tell them how to order the program if they want to learn it on their own.

As an active adult woman, 49 years of age, excercise is and has always been an integral part of my life. As a young girl I went away for a weekend on a school trip to Washington DC. During our stay we were allowed to swim at the facilities pool. After repeatedly being warned by my chaperone to stay within the swimming limits allowable I totally disobeyed and made my way to the diving board. I’ve always had a love for the water and I’ve had plenty of experience jumping off high rocks, trees into the river while I lived in the carribbean a year prior. A friend joined me and away we went diving off the board as I joyfully performed somersaults in the air. During one of my dives my friend alerted me that our chaperone was making his way to our area but I was already midway into my dive. I slightly turned my head toward her direction as she nervously hurried me on and my body didn’t quite make it correctly on the way into the water. As I slammed into the water from this high board I felt the most horrific pain ever in my lower back and was barely able to make it back up without her assistance. Out of breath and lots of pain she pulled me out of the pool and I layed there on the ground moaning and groaning because of the pain. Let’s just say the remainder of the weekend I tried to conceal my pain out of fear that I was in serious trouble for disobeying the rules. I couldn’t stand, sit or lay down without feeling the pain in my lower back and my legs. After returning home from this trip I dared not to mention it to my mother until two days later. I cried because of the terrible pain and fear. My mother took me to the local hospital, no x-rays, just a brief assessment and I was handed a chart which had a list of excercises describing how I should strengthen my lower back muscles. Unfortunately my mother had no insurance and her English was poor her ability to communicate was intimidating. I joined the swimming team during my high school years and ironically was the team Diver. My coach was aware of my lower back issues and trained my correctly on the proper diving techniques as well as swimming. I excelled greatly, held the diving record and became a certified lifeguard. Unfortunately it was very difficult for me to stand for long periods of time and pain was always present. Being active and participation in sports was always my life so I continued to stay healthy and fit into adulthood. After visiting doctors and finally getting diagnosed properly years after my accident, it was evident has been causing me so much pain and discomfort all these years. Several bulging and herniated discs from my neck all the way down to my lumbar. I also have been diagnosed with osteoporosis (high risk) . I also have torn hip labrums on both hips, inflammation on my left knee and so on. I still remain as active as I possibly can and I know that proper technique is imperative. Fix my back pain will help me tremendously in ways that no doctor offering pain management ever will. I do not take any medications, I’m totally against it because I need results not a coverup. My love for fitness and activity keeps me going, especially at my age. It’s important to be healthy, look and feel healthy. It’s my main goal to find relief for my lower back pain without surgery or medication. I do yoga for stretching and I follow a turbulence training program as well as bodyweight program. My husband and I workout together in our home gym. It’s important for me to be able to keep up and not fall back. There are times I totally want to skip out on my workout due to the pain. I’ve never once made it known to my husband that I couldn’t workout because of it. We both enjoy working out together and staying fit. The Fix My Back Pain system will definitely benefit me tremendously. I’ve learned to live with my pain since I was 12 years old. As I age it has been getting more and more difficult to do everyday activities as little as walking, laundry or mopping my floors. I don’t believe anyone should have to live in pain or work around the pain as I’ve done so for so many, many years, I am constantly trying to find relevant information that’ll help with my pain. I’ve tried almost everything but pain is ever so present. If this wonderful information and system can definitely
Help me achieve a pain free workout and improve my quality of life then I WANT IT! A pain free workout? I welcome it.

I’ve always been an avid sporter and started track & field 5 years ago. It turned out I was quite talented, and I’m planning on participating in the national championships of my country coming season; if everything goes right. However, of those 5 years, I’ve been injured for 2,5 years with around 10 different injuries, greatly slowing down my progress (I’m 20 btw). Last year, after extensive research and years of physical therapy and what not, it turned out that almost all of these injuries stem from a scoliosis, weak core-stability and lower back & pelvis issues. I’ve made a lot of progress in getting everything back in balance and getting a healthy spine, but the lower back & pelivs issues keep on persisting to a point it isn’t even funny anymore. I feel that FMBP can really assist in getting rid of all my injuries once and for all, and give me at least 1 injury-free season. Also since all the PT etc. costs are very expensive for me, a student. One injury-free season could mean I would be able to be amongst the top 20 fastest runners of my country. Kicking this back-pain’s glutal area once and for all would be great. Compliments for creating this contest!

I have had back problems on and off most of my life(59 years) Most of the the time they are nagging injuries like from squatting, lifting a lawn mower into a trunk or recently stepping out of the car and “tweaking” my lower back.

Most of these injuries would disappear in a week and I would get along with my life.

This summer I tweaked my lower back while on vacation. I really can’t do my exercise routine while on vacation until I came home. Something just wasn’t right. The pains started shifting around form right shoulder to left hip to right knee.

Finally for the first time in my life I developed a pain in my left hip with numbness going down my left hamstring and calf to the bottom of my foot, I went to a chiropractor and he said pinched nerve at L5-S1.

The treatments just have not been working. I left hip feels stiff as a board and out of place when I wake up with some numbness.

Prior to my injury I thought I was doing all the right things to condition my core. I am obviously missing something an came across your audio. lecture.

I would really like to take responsibility for may own health rather than depending on my chiropractor at a $100 dollars a pop and not getting results.

I think I would be a perfect candidate for your Fix My Back Methodology because I really need and want to fix MY OWN back rather than depend on someone else to “fix” it. Relying on somebody else make you dependent on them for appointments and it costly with inadequate results. Not exactly a recipe for success.

I breaks my heart when my 17 year old son wants to throw the football with me or play frisbee golf and I have to say no. He will be going to college next year and look at all the time we can’t do active things because I feel miserable.

Thank you for your consideration and listening to my vent.

for the past 6 years I’ve been working in a passenger cruise ship and my line of work is in the laundry. its one top job cause i have to really use every strength that i have specially when putting heavy loads of dirty linens in a huge machines…but its even more harder when you have to take it out when its done. so bending my back, lifting heavy linens, pulling clean linens inside the machines really makes my back sore. sometimes i can’t even put my socks on. well the doctors we have on board are giving me some pain reliever medicines but its not actually working, well maybe because I’m still putting much pressure on my back because of my job. i was hoping that the pain will be gone if I’m on vacation but still, its still bothering me so much, now i can’t sleep without wearing my back support cause the pain wakes me up every single night. if ” Fix my back pain” would resolve my misery, then this will definitely take my worries that none can take this pain, and I’m sure it will definitely boost my confidence not only with my job, but it will definitely give me the confidence to find myself playing my sports again, and the chance to work myself again in the gym. because since i have this problem in my back, I’ve always had worries playing basketball and working out, thinking this could only worsen my pain. and the joy sleeping without any back support and sleeping without even disturbed by the pain is something that I’ve truly missed. this would definitely change my life for good

As a person involved in weight training for 20 years, I have suffered from minor back problems. I currently am trying to fix my lower back and, it has even restricted my walking with my guide dog. It is frustrating to have a further restriction other then my visual one that I already have. It is to the point where playing with my 8 year old daughter is getting nearly impossible. I think a program like this would be of great help.

I am an athlete who trains six days a week and experience back pain on almost a daily basis. I’ve put a ton of effort into strengthening my core, yoga, and stretching. I am a big fan of your emails and have purchased the Fix My Knee Pain system and have found great success with it. I have full faith and confidence that FMBP can be icky me equally as successful. I would like to learn the source of my back pain and put my finger on whet I can do differently to prevent this reoccurring issue. My sport is my life and I want to be able to be able to progress without any further limitations, your support would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I started to work out when I was 16 years old. At the age of 20 I was competing. When I was 24 i started to experience lower back pain issues. I went to so many doctors that didn’t diagnose my problem right! All what i was getting back was that there is nothing wrong with my back. I didnt want to stop working out so I kept ignoring the pain until I started experiencing sharp pain at the age of 31. At that point i stopped working out for a while and went for more tests. Finally i was diagnosed with disc in my lower back. They think i have had it for 10 years from wrong dead lift moves. I would really benefit from your products and prevents back pain when I am working out. Thank you!

I get really bad lower back pain, and it effects my ability to work not only my back, but also other parts of my body. I can no longer run like I used to, as I sometimes get pain just from being up on my feet for too long.

Over the past six months, I have been suffering from sciatica a lot more than I have in the past. I am fairly sure it’s because I am sitting way too much at work, but I am also fairly sure it’s because I am growing closer to “that age.” Beyond avoiding more injury to my bad back (I know about McKenzie and have worked with really good PT/Trainers in the fast for all the disc issues I have), how I can keep exercising without feeling like I was hit by a train for the following three days afterwards?

After a long and somewhat exciting career as a F/F and a Paramedic, I had multiple injuries to my back, generally caused by poor ergonomics, and a lower fitness level than I really should have had. I ended my career with a back injury that required surgery, but that was not the end of it. Every once in a while, I’ll move the wrong way and WAM! I’m out of alignment, and can’t work out for a week or two.
I have been CrossFitting for the past year, and have seen incredible results, but still end up with back pain if I don’t stretch properly, warm up properly and really focus on my movements. I have been eating well, and doing what my chiropractor, osteopathic physician, and orthopedic surgeon tells me to, but would like to have some more information and “Arrows in my Quiver” to help me get stronger and enjoy my retirement even more.
Oh, and just to make things a bit more interesting and let you know my pain tolerance is pretty high, I experienced a burst fracture of my 1st lumbar vertebrae in 2003, and walked around for a week before I went to the hospital for an x-ray. The ED physician was a woman who I did not know, and she looked at me with a knowing look of, “OK, big guy, back pain X1 week, a bit crooked in his stance, typical wimp…” But she took x-rays none the less, and came running back into the exam room, and exclaimed, “You have restored my faith that not all men are wimps…Look at this x-ray!!!!”. Sure enough, there was the big ole fracture.
So anyway, I’d like to look over this system, and see if there is anything new here to help me.

I work as a Police Officer. I was involved in an auto accident on duty and have three bulging disc in my lower back. I have had every injection possible, 5 epidurals, nerve blocks, facet block and SI injections. None of the injections have given any relief. I have to take medication 3 times per day just to walk. I used to workout 6 days per week and now I’m happy just to make it through work. I want to get back to working out and having an active lifestyle. My job as a marine aviation ordnance man requires me to lift bombs missiles and various munitions aboard the f/a18 jets. This type of work demands a strong core and causes much stress to the back due to the awkward angles in which they are picked up. The munitions range from 500-2000 lbs each and multiple loads are done per day. To say that my back is mission essential would have to be 100% accurate. If this book contains knowledge and information to keep my back healthy and not undergo the same surgeries both my brother and father have had for their back I would give you gratitude for a lifetime.

From 2004 to 2010 I suffered from serious complications that arose from Crohn’s Disease which resulted in multiple surgeries and medication that caused lethargy and weight gain. Because I was so unwell and in constant pain, my mobility reduced drastically and I was confined to a wheelchair. In 2012 I was hospitalised for several weeks after contracting pancreatitis as a result of an adverse medication reaction. Although, I am now in remission from my Crohn’s and have lost 4st., I suffer from considerable back, neck and shoulder pain and would love to find a method that would alleviate this for me and help me get back to a normal, healthy lifestyle.

Seven years in a factory, from age 20 to 27, ruined my back for years to come, training, chiropractor, physio therapist and acupuncture at several occasions have somewhat made it better but I’ve learnt to live with more or less back pain. At the age of 47 and finally getting to train with dumbbells and barbells with best possible form regularly after trying again and again for years but got interrupted by a couple of frozen shoulders. Actually think I’m in better physical shape than ever before. Would be marvelous to get rid of back pain also, and not just accept that it’s there for life…

Hey team critical bench! My name is Gabe, I’m sixteen now, and I have been working out since i was 12. I love working out, but sometimes I can’t function throughout my day after a workout. Just yesterday, I was miserable at work, trying to cope with my lower back pain. I don’t know if it’s a postural imbalance or just an overdeveloped lower back. I’ve been to chiropractors, my doctor and even the e.r to get x rays because I wanted to know why the pain continuously persists. Ibuprofen, and heating pads do not help either. After having scourged the internet for a solution to my back pain, I came across this product. I strongly believe it would change the way I function and even the way I live. If my back pain were fixed, I would be able to accomplish more of my goals for both my physique and my life. I’m so young, and I’m struggling so much with this pain that I can’t believe it is natural. Please critical bench, fix my back pain.

Back pains are always a key problem so is the best way to perform exercises. Trainers are not always aware of the pitfalls of certain bad positionings and don’t alert the athlètes, resulting in exercises being done ineffectively. Would appreciate receiving your instructions. Hello,
Ok here’s the scoop. I am 42 years young. I have put my body through some challenges in those years, including a car accident 17 years ago that chipped my T11 vertebrae in my back. The results of which I still feel today. Not wanting to be bound to a walker or wheelchair because of my back pain (my mother is forced to use a walker to get around because of the severity of her back pain) I started exercising 4x per week to strengthen my back and correct my posture. It has helped, but I drive public transit for a living and spend 8+ hours a day bouncing around in the drivers seat. By the end of my shift my body is done! Knees, back, neck all of which are stiff and sore by the end of the day and make the simple act of standing a feat of pain endurance.
And that is why I need your system, because something has to change. I will do the work, I just need the proper mentoring.

    Hello Rick & Mike,
First off, thank you for offering this contest. I will keep this short and sweet, I am a fitness leader and I do not have back pain (touch wood), however, my 26 year old son has a bulging disk in his lower back. Of course he is very active and is trying very hard to understand his limits. He has been working out with weights to increase the strength in his core and he has certainly become very aware of every muscle and every movement. I have been guiding him with different exercises and of course proper form, which he is very diligent with. I believe your fix my back pain video will be extremely helpful for my son, so he can continue to educate himself with good knowledge. This video will be shared with both my sons and my husband. I will find it very helpful with assisting in my classes and with the so many people that have back issues that I know. Just to be able to give them a stretch or exercise that can make a difference.

This is a great chance!!! Well besides get thrown around by a great ape this damaging my back very extensively, I would definitely need this to aide lower back pain and stop back muscle spasms. This of course from long laborious times of working out in the desert field lifting rounds to load a artillery weapon. ( NOT KIDDING USMC ARTILLERY FIELD OPS ARE VERY STRESSFUL TO THE BACK!) Not only this but I also intend to incorporate whatever I learn and help friends and especially my fiancé on her back issues.

I have been subscribed to Mike’s e-mail list for the past year or so. When you were promoting Fix my shoulder pain I became interested in your work. I’ve been trying to become motivated to get back into the gym again after all of my injuries and I can honestly say the words from Mike, yourself, and also Andy Bolton truly made me a believer that the only person holdin myself back is me. In high school, I suffered an extremely bad experience doing heavy T-bar rows. I threw my back out entirely, leaving me unable to bend at the waist. I never went to a doctor because of my famiy’s financial situation at the time. With the help of google I was slowly able to gain stability and within 6 months I could lift weights again. Ever since this incident the complex of muscles on the right side of my back, just doesn’t feel right.

Fast forward nine years later and now it’s affected my entire right side of my body. My right shoulder now flares out and clicks when I move my arm. The right elbow and wrist are directly affected and there’s a huge disadvantage when I attempt pressing movements. My right knee and ankle both are misaligned and the only way I can describe it is that no leg exercise “feels right”. It’s like the whole right side of my body got shaken up and thrown entirely out of alignment. Me, not knowing I probably should have went to the chiropractor immediately after my back injury, realize now it’s from years of training WITH a severe back injury. An opportunity like this would change my life.

Either way, I want to thank you guys for all the motivation. The e-letters helped turn my life in a positive direction, just recently started going back to the gym after about two years off from a lower abdominal tear. I lost about 30 lbs of muscle but I am taking your tips to stay away from crunches, dips and upright rows. What really helped me was that stretch for your back (the one where you lean back with your hands on your hips). Now I am focused more on functionality and more importantly, form/technique of the movements and exercises I choose, instead of going directly to strength and mass goals. I would truly love to try your system to fix me once and for all.

    -Alex

I feel this system would help greatly in reducing the pain in my back. about 10 years ago I fell on to my back from a height and was seen by paramedics who said ” no damage ” But this will take a lot of time for it to stop hurting. Yer 10 years. I find weight training helps the pain and strengthens my back. but knowing how to get rid of pain and knowing my posture is correct. which has been a concern since the accident . Would be of great help when training.

I am 44 years young & have carried a work related lower back
injury since I was 28. My lack of knowledge was the main culprit
to the cause of it originally. Since it will be with me for the rest of
my life I maintain an active lifestyle & constantly look for ways to
better manage it; bridging, birddogs, stretching, deadlifts etc. I am
guilty of some of the wrong stretches & exercises but there is so
much knowledge from “experts” out there that I do it for myself
to see if what they are saying is correct…alot of it isn’t. I so far like

Lower back pain has been my nemesis. I’ve worked with massage therapists and personal trainers to develop an exercise and massage program to control and eliminate neck and upper back pain, but the lower back complaints persist like an unwelcome visiting relative who never wants to leave. Granted, my work sitting at a computer all day doesn’t help, but I really would like to find a way to cope and possibly eliminate this pain.

I work daily in a sports rehabilitation clinic with a mix of patients from total joints to athletes to amputees. We have excellent protocols for those specific conditions but frequently the patient’s back is a contributing co-factor to their dysfunction that often dosen’t fit neatly into my work on the other systems. As a result, when “back pain ” issues are reported in our conversation, I am never very confident about my management of that sub- section of their problem, and how it will fit with our otherwise scripted protocol. Based on the quality of your other work with which I am familiar, I feel that your CDs will make my life better if I can make my patients outcomes better!

I got into physical conditioning after years of pain and dysfuntion from skateboarding injuries. I have learned so much and tried many different programs from classical Pilates and Z-health to Enter the Kettle Bell and Tactfit ( not to mention thousands of dollars worth of PT from sports medicine docs.) All in the hope of getting back to skating without chronic pain. The last couple years have been so gnarly that I have devoted the majority of my time to studying new methods and research in corrective exercise and neuropathic pain pathways…
Through out it all I have had chronic pain in my low back, tension in my mid back and a c-spine that sounds like I’m mixing concrete in it… but I’m not giving up! If there is even the remotest chance that your program can help me get out of pain and dysfunction than I would like to test it out.
    All the best to you.

well.. my father and uncle complain often about back pain. My uncle is just all round crunchy and my dad had a number of accidents and sports injuries. Both of the dudes exercise but they shun compound lifting.. I’d like them to be willing and able to lift. It would be nice to hear about a new lifting record and not oh my back is only a little painful today.. so yeah I would also like to end my own minor back pain so that i can have better sex with my girlfriend and look cooler when I dance tiger style..

27 years ago I was in a car accident that shunted my neck and back in 3 places. For many years I had physio and took painkillers until I realized exercise was the best treatment. Since then I manage the discomfort but still put my back out especially when gardening or vacuuming! I also sure from restless leg syndrome which means many hours of tossing and turning at night, stretching exercises and twisting and turning me spine to relieve the “twitches”. So my back is pretty delicate and probably too flexible in the joints. Your help in finding the correct movements would be fantastic. I’m turning 60 soon, I run, do strength training and yoga, 6ft 1in tall, 162lbs

Having had Chronic fatigue syndrome for almost 20 years has meant I also deal with a lot of muscle pain due to corresponding Fibromyalgia. On top of that a car accident in July 2001 left me with an disc bulge in my C6/c7. Funnily enough I don’t have pain here but in my scapular and mid back, which seem ago effect my neck, shoulders and whole back as well. I have battered back from these debilitating illnesses and injuries and have made it my goal to get fit and strong. Set backs occur way too often and it’s like one step forward, 8 steps back but I am determined to get to the ‘top’. I have a goal of being able to do 10 n assisted pull-ups. I hope your program would be able to help me achieve this and not continue to be held back by injuries and niggling pain. I thank you for the opportunity to win a copy of your program and hope to be a successful ‘patient’ with full recovery if I do. Thank you

Since a child I have struggled with scoliosis and as the years have gone by it has affected me more and more. Daily pressures, incorrect posture and a sitting day job has caused my back to weaken even more, creating pressure on my pelvis and spine. When the pain gets bad, it creates a sharp pain running down my left leg, but gym and stretching isn’t enough. It often feels as though my body is too weak to stand up straight, and even standing for long periods of time creates such pressure that trying to bend afterwards is extremely painful! My chiro says I need to gym more to strengthen my back but I am not sure what will work best! I am 25 and sometimes feel 50! Please, I desperately need help!

I am a disabled vet. I have been dealing with chronic back pain and foot issues for over 20 years. I had to leave the service early for medical reasons. Finally, at age 59, I got tired of being limited by physical problems. I started a workout program in a small group with a personal trainer. Slowly, but steadily, I have been making some progress. Unfortunately, I have had several set backs because of the back issues. I think your program would help me work through these, so I can reclaim a more active life. It will also help me in my job a high school science teacher-right now I have to spend a lot of time sitting due to pain.

About a decade ago I was rear-ended on the I-5 highway outside Seattle, traffic stopped, the girl behind me didn’t. Some massage therapy visits got rid of the lower back soreness, and for the most part, I don’t have pain, only occasional stiffness. A chiropractor recently evaluated me for some shoulder pain, and found lots of subluxation and an S shaped spine (apparently due to sleeping on my stomach). He began adjusting my spine and neck daily for the next two weeks, with the idea that eventually I’ll only need adjustments once a month. I find the back and hip adjustments unpleasant, the neck adjustments downright scary, and the requirement of monthly adjustments for the rest of my life possibly fraudulent. I’m 48, sit at a desk all day, with less than perfect posture, but can lift weights and run 10k races without problem. I’m hoping your product will allow me to take control over my situation, improve my back health, strengthen it to prevent future problems, and cease reliance on medical providers.

I trained and worked out at the gym multiple times a week over an extended period and developed very painful lower back pain which has come to a point that it now restricts my every day activities. Following numerous medical assessments by physiotherapists and other fitness trainers they determined that the problem was a result of very poor training regime and work out techniques instructions provided by my then PTI. As a result of his incompetence, I now live with a back problem that has a devastating effect on my everyday life. From the information and material you have previously provided, I feel that your Fix My Back Pain System would be the best chance I would have to regain some form of normality back in my life and return to the gym to build a better and stronger back and attend my regular attendances at the gym.

    Simple enough.

We’ve all got back pain from time to time, me included, but some back pain is extraordinary.

Not mine. I really, really need a top quality back program for my sister in law.

She’s been staving off ending up in a wheelchair due to a degenerative back condition since she was 30. She’s defied the doctors for 25 years through relentless exercise and building up supporting muscle around a spine that looks like the lower Mississippi on x-ray.

She’s recently had an accident and injured herself further (dropped her bike and ended up under it) and can’t really do the same basic exercise she has in the past. She desperately needs something back-specific that she can do to get back on track to whatever extent she can. We’re talking either she solves her problems or ends up permanently in a wheelchair, and it will be all decided in these next few weeks as she is getting weaker due to the forced inactivity…

As a personal trainer, I work with clients who have intermittent back pain, and I’d like to help them reduce their pain to zero, and keep it from coming back. Despite seeing doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists, they sometimes reinjure their backs. Usually it is not during a workout , but while performing some everyday activity… moving furniture, tying shoes, picking up their dog, etc. I get frustrated because I feel I should be doing more to help these people!

If I am a winner, your “Fix My Back Pain” system will help not just me, but Marla, Laila, Dan, Janet, Sam, Liz, and Cheri… plus any future clients who come to me with “back issues”. Marla exercises regularly, but has stiffness in her right hip which radiates pain to her quadriceps and low back; she’d like to be able to run again. Laila would like to have greater mobility so she can play with her son. Dan has just begun exercising again; he’d like to do push-ups without pain. Janet has spondylolysthesis, and is afraid to do much for fear of hurting herself. Sam gets a spasm here and there, nothing lasting, but annoying enough to cancel workouts. Liz has an SI joint problem that keeps coming back when she helps unload trucks at work. Cheri has been in PT off-and-on for the past year; she wants to start general workouts, but the physical therapy doesn’t seem to “take”, and her pain recurs. Please help me help them, Rick!

I discovered Rick’s “Fix my shoulder” program. It did just that! I had been through physical therapy and Pilates w/o relief. Now I sustained a horseback riding injury w/ compression fractures to my thoracic back. I have been lifting weights, walking, doing inversion therapy, and making sure I drink enough water to hydrate the disc’s. With the success I had with Fix my shoulder I would love to apply the fix my back pain program. Ps I give everyone I meet who has physical ailments your link, I am a Paramedic.

I had back surgery in February, 2011- (L3/L4.) I had herniated the disc and never had as much pain, affecting everything that I did- breathing, sleeping, functions. They had to put me semi-out to take the MRI (I couldn’t lay on stomach or back.) I have recovered fine but I am always been protective of what I do to avoid another surgery or episode that I experienced. A program such as this seems to be the correct recipe for myself to plan my workouts using smart, safe and efficient exercises as a preventative measure and also as a fitness program for the rest of my life. This program, with tried and proven exercises and also using my smarts is just what the doctor ordered. Could not have been developed at a better time. Thanks.

I slipped a disk a couple of years ago at a concert, worst place in the world for this to happen. Anyway, since then I’ve had trouble sleeping, sitting down watching TV and even training. I would love this Fix My Back program as it would finally give me some relief and maybe a good night sleep. I have tried numerous treatments over the years to no joy. I’m only 35 and I love training. I’m a massage therapist and my son, Michael is an MD. He has had two back operations. The first one I begged him not to get. He asked me if I could put jelly back in a doughnut. I said”No” he said “It’s leaking”. So he had his first operation.
Then two years later he was playing softball and had a full extrusion in the same area. He had a second back operation. He’s a very busy doctor and he didn’t do the physical exercises after his operations. I think if I had Fix My Back I could use it to encourage him to take care of his back. I could also suggest it to my clients who also suffer from low back and mid thoracic pain.

I’m a firefighter that works 24 hour shifts at a time and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t have some degree of pain and discomfort. When I try to sleep at the fire station in between getting calls I never really fall into a deep restful sleep, this may be due to the beds not being the most comfortable, but when the tones go off and it’s time to get busy I have trouble getting going sometimes due to stiffness and pain. When I’m off duty and at home I seem to get less and less sleep lately due to having back and shoulder pain. I think it’s time to invest in another bed as well. My training takes a back seat a lot of the time, I’m talking the back of the bus! I try to keep my back and abs strong but when the pain overwhelms me I have to tap out. I would love to get your system so I could live a less pain free existence.

I had a Harrington rods back surgery 20 years ago (age 26) for my 68degree scoliosis. I have had scoliosis since age 13, did the 3 year Milwaukee brace, physio, chiro etc etc. Very aware of having to stay very fit I have managed to control and manage the pain , but am always searching for the optimal back exercises and methods to strengthen my very rigid spine. The rods are about 30cm long but leaving neck and lower back free, but obviously limiting twisting, curving and other movements. Don’t get me wrong I have been super active (obviously no running or other high impact sports or golf etc) but I play tennis, exercise, swim, ski. But am always looking for other methods to improve my back and at the same time help other people with back problems – there are so many! So if your method is that good I will be able to help so many more people which I think is a wonderful thing!

This system would improve my life not because I have back pain (I haven’t) but my husband has. Diminsih/remove his back pain and he has a better quality iof life which means i do too. We can go on long drives together without me having to do all the driving (he has sciatica); we would have to worry less about sleeping in beds when on holiday plus there’d be less grumbling and groaning from him.

Then there’s the preventative side. At a guess these programmes have a ‘strengthen your back’ element so although i do NOT have back pain as I age, I probably will. Therefore by following the dvds not only will I be able to motivate my husband (and he me) but I will be reducing the chance ogf me getting back pain in the future.

After six children (lower back pain) and one vehicle rollover (upper back/neck injury), my back has seen better days. I have at least one degenerative disk that gives me grief regularly, and I know that, while it cannot get better, I can stabilize the muscles to keep it from getting much worse for the time being. I think The Fix My Back Pain system will help me strengthen my back and help me be as active as I need to be with six kids! 🙂

I’m actually here with my thoughts on somebody else… my husband. Every year, right around August, he experiences really bad back pain where he turns to naproxene to ease the pain. As much as I love taking care of him when he’s suffering (which is usually around a week or so), I really would love for him to have a way to eliminate this from continually happening rather than getting used to the fact that it happens without fail every year. His back bothers him throughout the year, too, but around August it’s the worst. He has told me that he wants to get back into working out again, but I worry that without fixing the root of his back pains, working out could make it worse if he’s not careful… which is why when I got the email about this I wanted to at least try and enter the contest. Thank you!

For over 15 years I have suffered from a reoccurring lower back injury that I first acquired at work. It can be quite debilitating at times; most recently (September 2013) costing me two weeks in bed and unable to work at all. I had trouble with even the simplest of things such as putting on socks and shoes. The pain and frustration left me in tears. I know the lower back pain is set off by heavy lifting which is required by my job combined with a very weak core. When my back is at its’ best, I try to work out but usually end up reinjuring it. My quality of life has suffered and I am officially in the worst shape of my life. If I am ever going to get in shape again, I know I need to figure out how to work out again without causing pain. Finally there is someone who realizes how many of us are out here; suffering and feeling alone. I am saying a prayer and keeping my fingers crossed that my entry is a winner!

Up front I’ll mention I do suffer from scoliosis and I know from reading about your program you state it doesn’t help with that? So I’ve had back problems on and off all my life. No major problems until a couple of years ago, now – I fell about five feet off a ledge straight to my face and front of my body and 7 stitches in my leg. Then the problems started piling up – even after going to a Chiropractor for a couple of years and having a heal lift in my left shoe to help balance me when I walk. I can’t work anymore, don’t go anywhere and can’t do the one thing that helped – work out. Hell, years ago I ran my own nutritional business in a gym in Houston. Now, I try not to use a cane when I go places. So, what I would do if able? Perhaps learning your techniques from your program would help me to have some type of life again. Learning from you the proper techniques to restructure my body to move correctly. What to do to correct my form – to walk without a limp or cane, sit without too much pain and what to do when things go wrong. I’d use your program to work towards being able to go back to the gym again. Use your methods to build strength correctly – to gain freedom and something to look forward to – I don’t really know what choices I have. I’m only 49. I’ve lost a lot of muscle I did have. To learn a system that does half of what you say, would change my life and my future, really. I certainly don’t want surgery. That’s it. Freedom from my physical cage is what I used your program and techniques for –

I’ve been a trainer for over 6 year’s now. I would say more than half of my clientele have suffered, or is currently enduring persisting back pain — flexion and extension based. We all know that everyone has suffered from some sort of back-related issue, however, finding what is causing the pain usually becomes the problem.

Having a product like this will not only help myself improve awareness of how I am training, but will also provide me the requisite tools to help my clients overcome their acute and chronic issues. Introducing new ways to add or modify mobility drills to improve joint integrity and tissue tone, or discovering other ways to include core training to remedy and ultimately avert back issues, is the appropriate direction to head.

Regardless of the outcome, I look forward to adding this invaluable resource to my library.

As a physical therapist dealing with the ever increasing insurance crunch, I am always looking for someplace
To guide my patients after the therapy is done. I can get them moving better restore mkotion get stronger etc. I only have anywhere from 2-8 weeks.
Then what? Refer them to a trainer at some gym where you can’t lift like
A real human just to be put in poor postural positions on machines all day?

So if your program involves a ton of machines then just delete this. If you have a great program that I can refer my clients to that will truly help them not just a patch job, then consider me. Thanks

I was a Registered Nurse for 20 yrs. and suffered from low back pain as most nurses do. Unfortunately, I injured my back after a fall that started to spiral into worsening until I had back surgery to fuse 3 disks and to hopefully rid me of the back pain that had plagued me for years. Even worse, I awoke to find that my back was so deteriorated that they had to fuse an extra disc, resulting in four fused discs. I also never recovered enough to return to work, having to end my career and go on Permanent Disability.
Now I face even more back pain daily for which I take Morphine in a failed effort to ease the pain.
I try exercising to the best of my ability and hope that your program could bring me some relief and maybe lower my dose of pain medicine.

I have a congenital condition where my sacrum didn’t fully fuse that led to an s-curve scoliosis that wasn’t discovered until I injured my mid-back in elementary school trying to do a head flip. I have successfully reduced the scoliosis to a large degree through body work, (rolfing, deep tissue massage, etc) conditioning, and the like, but I can re-injure the low back pretty easily if I don’t pay attention to how I’m using my body. Your program sounds like it’s just the thing I need to finally create the kind of stability, proper flexibility, and strength to minimize any further injuries. I just turned 60 this year, and though I am pretty healthy overall, this is one area I do have some concern for myself as I go through “more laps around the sun” (most call this “getting older”) and want to maintain a strong core and spinal column for many years to come.

BTW – I plan to live for a very long time, so just imagine me giving a testimony about your program when I’m a spritely 125!

    Thanks Rick!

    Sir / Madam
I must make a try at this system for I have had back pain my entire life..working as a mechanic in the military and then being a casino dealer for years with the constant bending and flexing has taken it’s toll on me. I am currently working and have been working as a Professional Firefighter and Paramedic for the City of Las Vegas now for 19 years and doing what I do has definately taken a toll on my back..I now suffer with constant sciatic pain that runs thru both of my legs..I have seen many specialists and am trying to aviod surgery.. I work out with my pain and have tried many different workout programs to help eliminate my pain to no avail. Now my pain is constant but I do know that inflammation is the cause and probably some arthritis as well.. I’ve tried the chiropractor, drugs, rest, hot packs cold packs. Nothing seems to help..please concider me for a program as I would use it as a daily routine to help reduce my back pain.
    Thank you for your concideration

I am 58 years old, in 2008 I was diagnosed with a severe herniated disc at the L4-L5 I had suffered for many years with lower back pain. I would start a training routine would progress well and then turn the “wrong way” and be out of comission for awhile. I finally went to the doctor and was diagnosed with the above. I had corrective surgery to shave the disc in early 2009. I followed the doctors orders did not lift for months just walked. I am doing well I have been practicing Yoga for 11 months now. I have arthritis in my spine, I still get pain now in my mid back I believe Fix my Back Pain would benefit me as I still like to workout. Thank you.

Hey guys, I’m 22 yrs old and I’ve been playing competitve sports for about 12 years. I love being fit and active so I obviously loved gyming with my bros. I was always a tomboy and i never regretted it injury came and went but i never gave up because being active and fit was part of who i was.Approx 1 year ago i started getting back pain while gyming, was misdiagnosed as a muscle strain, about 6 months ago I developed a herniated disc at L4-L5 region and my life crashed basically I couldn’t live my life the way I was accustomed to. Simple things were so difficult to do…physiotherapy didn’t help much, I had to retire from sports, pain meds stopped working .Im also a vet student in my clinical year and my injury has hindered my career..I need my back, I need my strength..I’ve tried everything but nothing seems to work..people say that I am young and I would heal but I know deep inside I would never be able to give the 110% physically that I normally give…right now my career depends on my back healing and I really hope I would be able to access this info to heal me..finally.
    Thanks for the opportunity

I have very bad back pain. I suffer from spinal stenosis in two of my lower back vertebre, and I also have several others that are bulging from the middle down to the lower back. I also broke my neck once and have pain in my neck. I work hard through the pain all day long, and I try to do anything to stay away from surgery. I would love to try anything more.

Rick and Mike are two superb professionals. I had experienced their tips many times and each one worked very well, 100%. This is enough to referend their new product “Fix My Back Pain”. For almost 3 years I’ve have lower back and hip pain. Both hips replaced and laminectomy on L4 & 5, 2 sets of steroid injections and hardly any relief. Have lost my energy, depressed, and if I do anything for any length of time I have to have pain pills. I have tried PT which was too expensive for such little results. I’m ready to give up!!!

What I have seen of your program may be my answer. Looking at your bad exercises reminds me of a lot of the things PT had me doing. Yours show a much better way to do them and get help and not hurt as much. I see the benefit and feel your solutions may be what I need especially since giving up is really close!

    Thanks!

My mom has spent over the last 15 years of her life struggling with back pain and using pain medication patches. I have seen the decline in her mentally and physically due to this struggle. I am 40 years old and am pretty active but have started to experience back pain within the last year. I try to incorporate exercises to strengthen my back and keep it strong but I want to make sure what I am doing is the “right” thing for my condition. My husband, who is 45, struggles with lower and back pain. He wants to start working out again but is afraid to do any kind of strength training because of his back. I know if he can do the right kind of exercises for his back it will improve his health greatly. Being in our 40’s we are both looking forward to really improving our health so we are not burdened by medical problems as we get older. Thanks!

I get pain in my lower back from time to time. It is not a flexibility problem because I can put my head to me shins and do the slits in both directions. That is good for someone 49 years old. Sometimes, though, when I get out of bed in the morning, I walk around like an much older man until I loosen up a little. I do have arthritis in my lower back, but I have noticed that the stiffness comes the next morning after an intense leg workout. I love to lift heavy. I start my leg workout with a 700 pound let press. I don’t over do it and use good form, but Maybe despite that I am doing something wrong when I lift. Some tips on how to better support my lower back would be helpful.

I’m only 28 years old and can’t go a couple hours of standing up at work without having such back pain that I look and feel like an old man.

Even worse is that the back pain has hurt me in my most favorite exercises: sprint workouts and playing soccer. It sucks the joy right out of it when you are in pain.

I need these DVDs so I can enjoy my youth instead of being like an old man before even hitting the 30 year mark… and I have so many years ahead to enjoy exercising without messing up my back even worse, if I get these DVDs to rehabilitate my back and learn how to keep it free of injury.

Plus, at this time I am unemployed and can barely afford to eat, much less spend money on anything else.

    Please help!

Dear Rick, there has been a drastic reduction in the bore-well water levels in my locality in the past 3 years. During summers, the underground water levels are so low that our boring motor cannot suck any water and we have to call the water tankers and fill big drums of water sufficing for 2-3 days. From these drums, we fill up smaller buckets for our use. Lifting the water buckets wrongly for several months for the past 3 years have taken a toll on the backs of my family members. We then started lifting with our backs straight but the pain continues. The orthopedic doctor says that we need to stop lifting but that is not a solution. Hence this program will help us to fight back pain.

Six months ago I injured my back at the gym and it has not been the same since. I have been to numerous massage therapists, chiropractors etc but to no avail, I still have an almost constant ache in my right lower back/gluteal region.
Having the pain has not prevented me entirely from working out but it’s made it a lot harder and I often find myself skipping a workout so that it doesn’t flare up. I also sit for most of the day at my job and therefore I find myself not as happy at work due to the constant pain.
I would love to access this information to work out/work/play with my kid pain free.

I am getting more and more people coming to me, as a PT and Pilates instructor, wanting to train and lose weight. Going through their history, I find 80% have ongoing back issues. Bulging discs, general tightness, lower back stiffness. Chiro and physio treatment gets them going again, but then before long, they’ve slept funny, worn high heels for too long or just trained too hard and we’re back to square one – no training until the issues subside. Closer to home, my own husband is an on/off back pain sufferer and although I try to help him, he tends to push through convincing himself it’ll “be better in the morning”. I try to encourage my PT clients to get some Pilates classes under their belt. Some have tried and had success, but it’s an ongoing battle trying to get them to understand it’s something they have to work on for the rest of their lives. I’m always looking for new methods that make sense to help my clients. I hope this is a valid enough reason for entering.

    Hello there,

I have played rugby all my life but 2 years ago I had to retire from the game due to injury. I’m 22 roght now, and suffered from Scoliosis as a result of ny growth spurt (shot up to 6’3″). Went through physio and Difen B12 injections to relieve the pain, and this was all before I started working out. I play football (soccer) so my legs are strong (can leg press 1250lb for 5 reps) and have good upper body strength, but the first time I tried compounds like squats and deadlifts my back hurt like crazy. I imagine it was bad form but it left me gunshy, so I want a way to get over that fear of trying again

I think this program would make such a difference in my life. when I was 11 I fell on a ladder and the spokes went right through me. ever since then I suffer terribly with my back. when it goes completely I cant even turn my neck I have to turn my whole body. I cant walk or do anything. over the years the pain in my back is so bad I have to use 2 sticks to walk with and even then I can only stand for a very short period of time. the pain in my back is all the time day and night. I am on painkillers every day and even they don’t help. I spend most of my day sitting down. I really think you could help me have a much better life again.

Hello, I am 23 and when I was a bagger at a grocery store just out of high school I was pushing too many carts and hurt my back. Now every couple days or so my lower back starts to hurt real bad and I can’t stretch myself out of it. I just have to keep standing up straight and try not to lay on my back while sleeping. If I can remove my back pain it would help me out so much in my life. I’m currently in the military right now and whenever I deploy I have to wear a lot of heavy gear which causes my back pain to come back sooner. I’m 39 year old skinny Asian guy (160lb 6ft tall). I’ve managed to gain 9 lb in 3 mths. I go to gym every second day but it’s been kind of start/stop due to muscle injuries. At my age, I guess I don’t have much time left to put on a bit of muscle before I can hardly lift a knife and fork to feed myself. Apart from healthy diet, continuous workout could be the key to my success. My key routines are mainly compound exercises including squat and deadlift and I’m a bit hesitated to push my limit (increasing weights) and never be able to work for weeks or months. Your advise will be crucial to achieve my goal at my age.

Working in the industry its easy to give everyone else fitness advice and then simply ignore my issues. it wasn’t until my first child was born and I spent the night sleeping in the hospital chair that I discovered I had an L5/S1 herniation and then the back pains started. now some 15 years later as my wife I are expecting another I get the fear that I wont be able to do the things I use to, to play with them and make a difference in their lives by simply being there with them. It is time for me to take a serious look at how I can improve my physical health. having back pain eliminated starts the process because it gives one the freedom to move – movement create energy and energy creates change. so with that said I am hoping to get this product, no solution to get me back in the game and to create the future for my family I know I can. thank you for considering .

I’m probably not in as much pain as some of these other folk but I have had chronic problems with facet joint sprains, herniated disc and ligament issues for 15 years. I currently suffer from a number of medical conditions at an age of 24 I have a T12 slip disk, scoliosis and arthritis in my back. It is not only myself that suffers, it’s my 2 1/2 year old son as some days I can not even get out of bed due to my back being that sore. I am prescribed numourios medications but the long term damage will be much worse. I would love to be able to be ACTIVE and ACTIVLY involved in my sons life, massuses, hot showers and pain relief help but it can become quite costly..

I have had chronic back pain nearly my whole life. However at 43 I have fallen in love with weights. Great time to do so as I have discovered that I am pre osteoporosis and I have bulging disc as well as bone spurs in my neck along with quite a bit of arthritis. Needless to say I think I would definitely benefit from this program.

The health benefits from working out this past year has made daily life a joy and if I could diminish the back issues that would be just one more slash in the win column.

I herniated a disc in my upper back and have had problems ever since. I have trouble sleeping at night as well as having night sweats. I have weakness in my left arm when I lift weights. I have numbness in my finger tips of my left hand. The muscles in my left trap are always knotted up and deep tissue massages not only would make this an unpleasant session but for the knots to continue to form again anyway. I suffer through severe migraine headaches which cause me to vomit and that’s no fun at all. My vision is blurry in the distance and it takes a few seconds to adjust it when I look at something. I’ve ordered a Sleep Number bed and it’s on it’s way and I’ve started using an Inversion Table. Your Fix My Back Pain system would definitely improve my quality of life and would be the icing on the cake for me. Building muscle around my spine through your system would protect it from further injury and perhaps alleviate any further pain and discomfort. I’ve followed Critical Bench from a distance for quite awhile now and when I came across your Fix My Back Pain booklets through here I thought “This is what I’ve been searching for!” “Right here in front of me.” I seriously want this. Thank you Rick.

    Hey Mike and Rick!

Big shout out to Elliot Hulse and Eric Wong MMA for introducing me to your ideas in the first place!

I’m a competitive Brazilian Jiu-jitsu fighter, former PT, and movement fanatic. My plan is to start competing in BJJ at an advanced level in the coming year, so I’m looking for ways to support my decision in any way I can. I suffered from some pretty bad back pain from over-training, and my lower back got so loose a rib popped out on the other side. Now that I’ve corrected that, I’ve started to experience back pain from tightness. I’ve experienced the damage from back pain and hypo-lordosis, and I’m looking for any tools I can invest in to save myself the stress and time-consuming recovery period I experienced then.

My bets are Rick’s methods are going to be a great way to prevent re-injury! After all, he seems to be recommended in some great circles.

    Thanks for this great opportunity,

    Chaim Grafstein,
    (former) Canfitpro PTS

Previously before he was born I was introduced to kettlebells and started training with Israeli Krav Maga. These two activities opened my eyes to a whole new world of fitness which I introduced my wife to and started my son rolling at a year. I had to put Krav on hold due to work scheduling and daycare and I fully diconnected from fitness with the demands of my job related to the storm. As 2013 rang in I was unpleasantly greated by very painful lower back and sacroiliac joint pain. Through exercises and chiropractor visits it seems to be under control but still always there. While trying to recover from back pain, I some how tore my anterior labrum in my shoulder. They want to operate and it scares the hell out of me. Not to mention it pushes my goals that much further back. Its been a hell of a year for me physically and has taken a toll mentally. Im 37 and fear that by the time my son needs me to teach and demonstrate the necessities of child hood, bike riding , baseball etc. I will be too broken down. My wife and I both agree that we need to take our healthcare into our own hands because with the rising healthcare costs we might not be able to afford the consequences in the future. Please help me put my back pain in check once and for all to let me finally focus on my families quest for health and happiness. I appreciated all of your tips and videos in email and read them daily. Thanks Rick and Mike for the work you do.

More than a year ago my dad had a lower back operation. The once big muscular man quickly faded away into a skinny man and I felt so sorry for him. He lost all his gains and more. He spent about 5 days in icu after the operation. He did most things lying down, like eating and drinking. When my mom and I talk about gym I could see that he was burning to go back. He did his after care and started walking around the house every day. After three months he was back in the gym starting over again with small weights. It’s more than a year now and he picked up all his gains. He sometimes have trouble with his lower back when doing the odd jobs around the house and driving long distances and some exercises also causes pain. I think the fix my back pain will definitely assist him in doing all this pain free. He’s an inspiration to me and would like to see him live pain free and do what he loves (pumping irons in the gym) without pain

As an older female (44) I’m already unconventional as an exercise physiologist. I work not with cardiac and respiratory patients but with a non-profit in their efforts to prevent and address the epidemic of obesity in Texas (particularly in disparate populations.) I’m always looking for resources to help me improve myself, my instructions and make my instructions relative and safe. Almost 17 years ago I was in an emergency situation that necessitated getting a car off the ground and a functional car jack was not available…so I did what any mother would do and lifted the car a few inches to resolve the situation and keep everyone safe. I was lucky I was not injured severely but did end up with some subluxation in my lumbar discs. A few years later I spilled myself on the slick ground to the extent that witnesses stated my feet went above my head in a “cartoon style fall.” I was told in the ER I would hurt for the rest of my life. They were wrong. While I know plenty of exercises and stretches for the back and have done them for years, Rick Kaselj’s knowledge is such a valuable resource. I learned of Rick when I attended one of his continuing education classes on plantar faciitis and its proved effective for me. Having a copy of Fix My Back Pain as a reference would prove to be even more useful due to the commonality of the back pain. Having this new bank of knowledge would help me stay back pain free and prevent my occasional episodes of pain and provide me with reference to ensure I’m doing everything I can to prevent back pain for my those in the community I help.

Thanks Mike & Rick for this opportunity.

My husband and I suffer from lower back pain. We have tried a number of things. We have spent many dollars with doctors and chiropractors with no long term success.

My husband has a belly which no doubt makes his back hurt even more. He needs to loose another 20 pounds for health reasons. Exercise often makes things even worse. So it ends up being a catch twenty two.

We would be very grateful to win a copy of Fix My Back Pain. This would allow us to hopefully live a much fuller, healthier and longer life.

    Thank you for this opportunity!

When I tore my medial hamstring in Oct 2010, it was my first ever physical injury and, although I was a very active and fit person at the time, it occurred while I was essentially standing still. I thought it was ‘just’ a hamstring injury & went about ‘fixing’ the symptoms with the guidance of Drs & physiotherapists. I ‘fixed’ it & carried on with my life, hiking & running. Pretty soon my back and buttocks & hamstring were in pain & I could barely walk 50 metres. Drs medicated me for the pain, took x-rays, did an MRI (bulging disks & arthritis – ‘normal’ for some one in their 30s I was told) & told me to try harder. Not being able to walk is not normal for a fit woman in her 30s & certainly not acceptable to me. I experienced several very dark months. Over the past year, I discovered self-applied trigger point therapy & used gentle yoga & breath work to manage the pain & to start walking. Yesterday I went on my first little hike in 2 years! I still have work to do. I still don’t know what’s off kilter that’s causing my problems. With access to your information, I think I’d get closer to figuring out the root of my issues & get on a corrective action plan. I want my life back – there are mountains & forests still to explore & trails to run. Please help me?

I can’t necessarily say that I suffer from chronic back pain. I have my days, as we all do. I give extra attention to the little things to assure that I will stay healthy and live pain free. I’ve done a lot of research on posture and shit like that too. Suppose that what I’ve been doing isn’t the correct approach though? This is why I want a copy of the ebook. Do I deserve one? I don’t think I can remember when was the last time I didn’t have any back pain. Despite being athletic and active, the pain persisted. So, yes, I suffer from chronic back pain! After giving birth to my daughter, it hurt do bad, I had to get a reduction just to ease the strain. However, as my daughter grows heavier, the strain is still an issue! I would love to be able to carry my daughter and have her fall asleep on my shoulder without really hurting. I long to feel her loving warmth rather than the stabbing pain in my back. I tried everything to make the pain go away, but at this point I’m ready to give up!! This entry is my last attempt (and hope) at finding a solution 🙁

I would like to win the Fix My back Pain package because I need to be able to function properly and feel like I am strong again enough to do daily chores, activities, and just live without pain and soreness. I am a former power lifter who used marginally good form with a grow stronger at all costs to my body workout. I started out at 6-6″ tall and 185lbs to a competition weight of 262lbs. I went from bench pressing 185 lbs to a competition lift of 360lbs. I went from squatting 185lbs to 615lbs. My deadlift went from 135lbs to 580lbs in competition. Now that I am 45 years old, my back is my weak link and everything else is now weakened as a result. I can barely bench press my own weight and squatting is almost out of the question. I need to fix this pain so I can get back to enjoying a physical, active life. I have been strong, and I know that I can be strong again with a healthy back. Thank you for this program and the chance to win it. Please choose me. Sincerely, Dan

I have been a police officer for over fifteen years. During that time of chasing felons, working nights, and missing countless hours of sleep my back has paid an enormous price. I used to be in good shape but my constant back pain has side lined my workouts and has made it increasingly difficult to stay in shape. I have spent an enormous amount of money on chiropractors, medical doctors, physical therapy and finally a series of very painful injections. I am hoping to find a system that will eliminate or drastically reduce my back pain.

I play roller derby for my local league and suffer low back pain. I lift regularly ( when not injured: stitches, sprained wrist) and have a pretty good full body weekly routine rotation in addition to derby practice two nights a week. Despite having good mornings, back squats, front squats and dead lifts in my lifting routine, a hard night of endurance training for derby really does a number on my back.

Two hours of nearly nonstop “derby stance” (think of a 3/4 squat, or just above parallel) and it takes heavy anti inflammatories to get to sleep. I am intrigued by your program, but not sure it will help me stand up to the punishment of derby.

I’m a Marine and a musician. The demands of my job over the last several years (lots of lifting) definitely put a strain on my back. Went through the whole ‘here try this pain medicine’ loop with Medical and figured out on my own that it was mostly trigger points. As long as I keep them in check, I’m mostly pain free but I just moved to a new duty station and the load and demands on my body is only going to increase. I train at a gym where I don’t trust any of the personal trainers as I never see any changes in the shape of their clients. For this reason I download workouts from reputable trainers from the net. Only problem, I have had to figure out some exercises just from ” you tube” videos and I don’t think I have always got it right as I now suffer from lower back pain regularly. I think a program like yours could really help correct some of my bad form and help the back in the long run. Thanks so much. I am a fitness and nutrition coach and in July I did Tough Mudder. Among the obstacles were two that involved electroshocks. I was shocked several times yet finished the event unscathed. Over the next several days, my low back went into spasm. I thought it was a disc issue and while I have some minor disc issues, nothing was a major red flag. Needless to say, it impacted not only my ability to move but my ability to coach and teach my classes. I decided to use the injury as a gift so that I could cultivate more compassion towards those I work with. I am about 90% recovered and while I have a background in corrective exercise and many tools at my disposal, I am intellectually curious to see what your program offers in terms of “filling in the gaps” of my knowledge. Also, I want to have an even more structured program that I can share with my clients who suffer from back pain and pathology. I want to continue to “pay it forward.”

In 2006, I had a Cavernous Malformation that ruptured. Mine was found in the “horses tail” of the nerves. It was surgically removed and I have had some nerve damage. With this I have found it increasingly more difficult to work out. Any kind of impact places stress on my back. When I lie on my back I have pain and my feet tingle. I would like to learn how to work out while I protect my back in the best way possible. I need to strengthen my body so I can continue living a normal lifestyle. At this time, I find it difficult to strength train, I generally walk, or use the elliptical. In the long run this will not assist me as I age. Any assistance would be truly appreciated.

I think this would help me because I’ve had spinal surgery and still have some issues with my back but I do go to the gym 2-3 times a week. It would help me to understand how to work out and what exact to do. Thanks for the chance to win!!!

I injured my back while in Afghanistan in 2006. The Army told me I only needed to stretch and I would be fine. I continued as normal but my hip region constantly fatigues to the point I almost drag my leg. After a year of treating a misdiagnosis, I was finally diagnosed with lumbar problems not requiring surgery. Since then, I can no longer participate in my previous athletic activities. My only true level of success has been with a massage therapy and kettlebell swings but that has only taken me so far. Now I have a partial tear in my shoulder and swings are no longer an option. My therapist (independent of the VA) works on my back but within a week or two my muscles are knotting up and contorting to the point that the VA said I now have mild scoliosis. I explained that my massage therapist fixes the knotting and contorting but they looked at me like I suggested a voodoo ritual. In their mind there is no cure that doesn’t involve an obscene amount of ibuprofen. I have a year left in school and then I can pursue health care that might actually do something but for now, I am on a limited budget, spending long hours at a desk. I firmly believe there are methods such as yours that will work. I desperately need to get back to an athletic lifestyle; kettlebells, marital arts and mountain biking for my health, sanity and happiness.

I am a carpenter for 35 years, I have had lower back pain for the last 15 years. Every day I go to work and deal with it.( just trying to feed my family). Through the years I have tried just about every thing, to no avail. The only thing that helps is when I strengthen my core . I would love to try your system. Sincerely Doug Hafele

    Hi Rick,

I have used your material in the past (I have torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders) and found it helpful. Though the information clearly cannot be individually tailored and requires the user to self diagnose it is good to have dependable information.
I do have spinal stenosis and traditional medical approaches have not worked for me. Dare I hope that your program will help?!
Please do not inundate me with email every day as in the past or I will unsubscribe. By the way< I am supposed to be unsubscribed and yet somehow I miraculously got this email.

I am a mother of two, wife, and RN. I injured my back several years ago, hurniating two discs in the lumbar area. I use to be an avid excersizer. Working out with weights and doing arobic activities. I have not been able to work out for quite some time now. Needless to say, I have gained a lot of unwanted weight (FAT)! I have started using Biotrust products and have actually began to see some results! I want to be able to strengthen my core to prevent further injury to my discs or any other part of my spine!! Traditional exercises have the same end results! My back ends up tight and torqued! As a matter of fact, I’m in that position now! I’m in pain, can hardly walk, and my muscles are as sore as they can be! I believe this program could do wonders for my life and improve the quality of my life with husband 😉 and my younger kids sporting events. 🙂

About a month ago when I turned the vacuum cleaner and made my first push forward, my back went out. I’ve been in pain ever since. I usually run at least 5 days a week and weight train. I can barely walk. I have no health care and have not received any therapy. I believe that your system will fix my back since I already have the “Fix My Shoulder Pain.”

    Hello Rick and Mike,

I am 47 years old, and have been training most of my life. I have four kids two of whom are under ten. These two keep my wife and I busy, and require me to be at my best to spend quality time wit them – playing with a football, or cycling, walking or having fun at the beach.
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis a few years ago and while I exercise it seems to be getting worse. Last year I lost my job in account management and ended up working as a dock-hand and packing boxes out of and into forty foot trailers in a split shift. Needless to say, my back suffered and I ended up flat on it for a couple of weeks. This year I’ve moved to Melbourne, and have a new job, but my back pain is getting steadily worse. As my job requires mobility and travel, the pain is hindering my ability to work well. The financial strain of the last two years means that I can’t even afford proper chiropractic care. I need to fix my back so I can do my work and then spend time with my young children.

    Regards
    Nazier

I do alot of lifting at my daytime job and also do tree work on weekends. My back and body ache in the mornings and it takes alot of stretching to get me loosened up for the day. Also being a former athlete I still try to workout 4 times a week to keep my strength and core in shape to get me through my day to day. As I get a older it seems to take longer and harder work to keep in shape. My dad has had a bad back throughout his life also and I dont want to go down that road. Hopefully I can stay ahead of the injuries and also help my dad with some new info.

While I was in the army, I had back surgery to repair 2 herniated disks and a bone spur on one of my vertibrae. Since then I have been very limited in what kind of back exercises I can do that won’t aggravate it. Any help you guys can give me that will help eliminate the pain, while allowing me to strengthen my lower back would be greatly appreciated!

When I was 16 years old I developed an L4-5 disc herniation. After an unsuccessful series of treatments and physical therapy, I finally had the bulge removed with microsurgery. It is now 7 years later, and I still have residual pain. I am afraid to workout and re-injure my back.I think the Fix My Back series speaks specifically to my issues and could be the answer to how to get back to fitness.

I am a career military soldier who Just had a Prodisc-L anthroplasty at my L5-S1 level in September. Previously had a partial discectomy and laminectomy at the same level in 2011. Have had a lot of wear and tear due to 20 plus years of military service carrying heavy packs and many full combat load parachute jumps. Have been told quite a bit that I would be limited to what I would be capable of doing in the future. Most doctors have said that I would not be able to do anything that irritates my back. That is not good enough for me! I’ve always been active and want to continue to exercise. I’m interested in learning about the PROPER exercises with the anthroplasty to reduce flare ups, prevent further back injuries, and allow me to maintain an active lifestyle. I want to feel as though I am 27 years old again and believe as though the “Fix My Back Pain System” may be the way to go. Really looking forward to its release so that I can begin to incorporate its exercises into my daily workouts. Thanks for developing the system!

I’m now on my late 50s but still in pretty good physical shape. Ever since I moved out west 30+ years ago I’ve been active in a lot of outdoor sports-fly-fishing, skiing, hiking/backpacking, whitewater rafting. These activities are my great escape from the 40-hour work week. I also work out at home as well. Staying active like this is a very important part of my life.
I had back surgery (L4-L5 fusion) almost 4 years ago and the surgeon did a pretty darn good job. Recently though, I started having some issues again but not as severe as where things were 4 years ago.
I need a program that will give me the strong core and back I need to continue all my activities.

Fix My Back Pain will definitely help my quality of life. Back in the fall of 2007, after being off lifting for about a 15 months due to shoulder surgery (wish I’d had your Fix My Shoulder back then), I definitely pulled something/twisted something in the lumbar region while working up my weights, which left me practically immobile for a couple of months.

Even today, I still get once or twice a year it flares up, and I am back to not doing much. (And I have pretty much had to stop lifting.)

Fixing my back would finally let me get back on track in my physical/athletic goals, which have all been put on hold since my back went bad.

I hurt my back in Feb this yr, an mri showed 3 disc bulges in my lower back with nerves stretched on both sides at L4/L5 and the vertebrae has actually moved at L5/S1. I’m taking anti-inflammation tabs with painkillers. I’ve come out of work as a fork lift truck driver and could lose my job if things don’t improve soon. I’ve tried chiropractor but after an expensive 8 sessions realised it wasn’t helping. I had joined a powerlifting club before my injury and would love to squat and deadlift again. The gym is my life and at the moment mentally things are tough because I can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. This program could give me hope… thanks

Back pain, back pain who has back pain. I will be 76 this Dec. I have had back pain since 1972. I have had many visits to the Dr. I have been on just about any of the pills that were suposssed to work but they have not. I teach 5 Zumba classes a week, and I attend crossfit 3 classes a week. I can do nothing and have pain or do things I enjoy and have pain, so I do the things that keep me young. Will your program work for me, I don’t know, but I would be willing to give it a try. I retired from the USAF (20 years) in 1975, they tried to help me but the research was not that great back then. I am 5’6″ and 165 lbs, I love to exercise and learn new material. I also hold a 8th degree black belt in TKD, which I began in 1967 while station in Pakistan. Thank you for this chance to be able to get involved in this system.

    Hello Rick!
I’d like to begin by thanking you for this awesome opportunity. Your hospitality, generosity, and concern for others is absolutely incredible! The Fix My Back Pain System, without a doubt, has to be a phenomenal program. The structure of the human body known as the spine consists of very important anatomical components of the central nervous system, ie, spinal nerves, spinal cord, critical ligaments, etc. As an avid martial artist and certified fitness trainer, I can’t possibly imagine being able to perform at any decent level unless this very important structure is totally intact and operating properly. Occasionally, I’ll witness a student, fighter, or fitness client having back problems for various reasons, known and unknown. Having the knowledge contained in Fix My Back Pain System could and would play a significant role in me assisting anyone with back pain, but most definitely fitness buffs. There are times when I have a “tweak” in my back that causes pain. Again, this can be a hindrance to performing at any decent level. Most people who’ve never suffered back injuries have no idea how important this whole structure is. I certainly appreciate the fact that we, as vertebrates, find ourselves feeling much better and happy when our backs are healthy. Oftentimes, people are quick to take off to the doctor for pain medications or to the chiropractor’s office when they experience back pain. However, these drastic measures are not always feasible, but proper muscle balance and soft tissue manipulation hold the keys to good back health. I certainly take nothing away from chiropractors or doctors and their pharmaceuticals, but the methods found in your system are safe, natural, and cause no side effects. The most significant factor is: I could help myself and others in the most natural and Godly way, in addition to informing others in the fitness and martial arts circles about this awesome system. Again, I greatly appreciate the opportunity you’ve given me and others to win the Fix My Back Pain System.

I am 72 years old and have had 3 lumbar surgeries for spinal stenosis. I had a laminectomy on L2. 3, 4 and followed up with spinal fusion on the same vertebra. Surgery followed with stenosis on L4,5. I Have been to pain management for continued pain. Still experiencing some sciatic pain. I am tired of the shots and have been told I shouldn’t have more surgeries. I am willing to try alternative options to find some relief and pursue things like golf and bowling if at all possible.

I had a lumbar laminectomy and fusion with pedicle screws, and bone graft at L4-L5 back in February 2011. Was doing great until August 2012 when the disc at L5 -S1 herniated. I have been dealing with bilateral stenosis and the resulting bilateral sciatica for a year and am now scheduled to go in for the same procedure at this new site on Nov. 12, 2013. I am praying that it works as well as the last time, The last MRI showed disc protrusion and mild narrowing of the spinal canal at L2 – L3 as well as moderate bilateral facet arthropathy and ligamentum flavum buckling at L3 – L4 which is causing mild spinal stenosis and narrowing of the lateral recess as well as mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing. I have to believe that if I don’t find a way to deal with the new stress that these sites will face following this new procedure that I will most likely be back in this same place a few years from now. While I am not into extreme activities, I am not ready or willing to just lead a sedentary life in order to avoid future problems either. If this is something that can help, I would be very interested in learning more.

Next month is my 40th birthday. While right now I am fairly strong in body over the years the quickest thing to debilitate me is lower back pain. I have endeavored over the last few years to increase my quality of movement and overall health. I feel the best thing I can do to help myself is to seek out the best techniques. All to often people just go with conventional knowledge hoping it’ll work. Through the above videos I have seen things performed that could definitely deepen my knowledge, but with consistency and practice benefit me for the coming years.

    Hi Guys,

I’ll be 56 next week, and I have been working out most of my life. My problems started in 1991, when I was hit head-on, by a driver who shouldn’t have been driving. I fractured my 1st rib and sternum, and herniated 2 discs in my neck, and 2 in my back (L4, L5). It took close to 2 years before I could work out, with the intensity that I had pre-accident. My back has never been the same, and I have flare-ups from time to time. In June, I had numbness in my shin, had an MRI; there was a disc fragment pinching 2 nerves. My doctor wanted me to take pain meds, use ice, and do nothing all day, and plan for surgery. I did that for a short time, then started to stretch (Yoga), and ease into working out (figured I had nothing to lose, if I had to have surgery anyway). Now I am working out regularly, with some restrictions, but without numbness in my shin. I know it’s only a matter of time until I have some other back issue; that is where you come in!!! I think your program can help immensely. I consider myself very knowledgeable with regard to proper lifting technique. I have used a tens unit, chiropractic, acupuncture, inversion, etc. I’m tired of being in pain when I wake up, during the day, when I go to sleep. I’m also tired of using 100 different pillows. I think that with your program, I will learn the correct exercises to do, and which ones do avoid. and hopefully I will be more comfortable on long drives, and on a plane. I’m looking forward to trying your program, and to FINALLY feel better.

BTW – I forgot to mention, that I am a contractor, so I need better back health.

    Thank you,

    Chuck H

I would love to win this because I am currently a Physical Therapist Assistant student. I have a real passion for helping people not only getting back on their feet, but teaching them how to continually improve their quality of life. People sell themselves short far too often, and I love helping them realize a potential they never knew they had. I am also a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA. Needless to say I love helping people on a physical level. With the profession I am involved in, I anticipate a LOT of back questions. Your product would provide a wealth of knowledge to me and to the hundreds if not thousands of people I will work with on back pain in my lifetime. I have enjoyed your emails very much as they have already been helpful. I would greatly appreciate this and I promise it will not go to waste as it will help many many people. I am 58 and have had problems with my lower back over the past couple of years. It prevents me from doing as much gardening as I want – I have a big organic garden, lots of blueberry bushes and flower beds to maintain. I also can not progress in my exercise routines as my back will bother me and then I have to back off and take time off. I feel I never make any progress. Hi Rick and Mike!

I’ll be 59 in a month and I know my lower back is weak. I can feel it especially when I try to do stuff like dead lifts. So I really have to listen to my body and I have to be very careful while I weight train. Getting a copy of Fix My Back Pain will improve my life because I know that I’ll be getting the guidance I need in order to keep weight training safely so that I’ll still be training well into my 90s and hopefully even on into my 100s. That’s my goal anyway. Can you imagine a 100 year old lady still weight training? I invite you to be a part of my dream by helping me meet this goal with Fix My Back Pain.

Mike and Rick, I thought I had submitted my entry but did not see it on the comments section. I would like to win “Fix my Back Pain” After years of lower back pain issues I went to the doctotr’s office and was diagnosed with a “severe Herniated Disc” the disc had actually atached itself to my spinal cord. I was operated on had the disc shaved, L4-5. I also was told that I have arthritis in my back. I still experience back pain in other areas now. At 58 yrs. old I enjoy being active and want to continue to lead an active lifestyle in my 60’s-70’s and beyond. Being in Law Enforcement for 15+ years and being a trainer for various classes and specialty areas also being a K-9 Handler has taken its wear and tear on my body for sure. It’s hard to hide the aches and pains any more and trying the exercises and stretches and other things I know only help for so long and I am not ready to hang it up just yet, but keeping up with the guys and girls half my age is getting tougher and having back issues definitely doesn’t help. The Fix My Back Pain system would improve my life by giving me detailed instruction how to care for and strengthen my lower back. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, and I would like to combat this. I have had a herniated disc at L5/S1 that has ruptured and twice required simple surgery to remove disc fragments that were causing significant nerve pain. I have 4 kids under the ages of 8, and I want to have a high quality of life ahead to be able to share it to the fullest with them. I have recently recommitted to improving my health, and have lost 40 pounds in 2013 so far. I continue though to suffer from low back pain that makes me worry if I am training properly, or it I am doing things that are doing greater damage to my back. There is a lack of information out there on how to combat DDD, and I believe the Fix My Back Pain system can help me fill that need.

After suffering and recovering from severe back pain, I have made it my life mission to help others who suffer like I once did. I am a personal trainer and have recently graduated from massage therapy school. While I feel I am able to help clients some, I feel that I am lacking in a fundamental knowledge base that might help get my clients to where they need to be. I came across Rick’s YOUTUBE videos and was both suprised and impressed how easily I was able to absorb the information. I have been reluctant to purchase the product due to the overhead of starting a new business. If I could win a copy, it’s one less upfront expense I would have to incur. Plus I would be able to use the info. Immediately to help my clientele with these crippling conditions.

Hello. I’m entering for my friend. Last week he told me he has two herniated discs, one in his upper back and one in his lower back. We both live in small towns in Japan. He went to a larger city, about two hours away, to visit a sports medicine hospital. They confirmed the diagnosis, and then told him, ” If you didn’t live so far away we’d have you come in for PT.” That was it! My friend has been scouring the net trying to find exercises and stretches to fix it himself. I know this would help him, and I don’t want him to make things worse with misinformation he finds on the net.

    Hi there.
I am a 25 years old tall and skinny guy who has suffered lower back pain for long years now. I used to practice basketball in my 15-20’s and all the help I got from my coach was “get stronger”. I think it just wasn’t the right answer (it didn’t work that well either). Besides that, in my family (from my grandpa to my sister and mother), lower back pain has been the unwanted relative that’s always around.
I just finished college and I am starting a job where I will spend lots of hours sitting in a desk, and some hours out in the field walking with tight security shoes (I am a civil engineer), which usually increase my back pain.
I have started practicing mountaineering in my free time, climbing mountains around Santiago (where I live, in Chile) during weekends, which I love because it gets me out to the nature quickly and help me pull the plug from daily stress. This sport, considering carrying weight (a backpack),camping and sleeping in tents, and walking long distances and long hours, are increasing the load on my back and making me not to enjoy it that much, which shouldn’t be like that if you love it.
Your program would help me by helping me enjoy mountaineering better, alleviate my pain during work and help my family with their pain too, so no excuses as genetics or so would be allowed anymore.
    Thanks!

I was retired in 1980 because of a back problem and altho I rehabbed myself from that, I have intermittent pain in my lower back. I desperately need a copy of your Fix My Back Pain Program. I taught school for 34 years until my school closed last year. I’ve tried, unsuccessfully, for the past 14 months to locate another job. Thank God for my wonderful wife as my family income has a $42,000 hole in. Looking for a new job means a lot of sitting at a computer and researching and completing online applications. But I now believe this constant sitting at a computer is now causing a back pain that I suffered with 7 years ago to return. I know this sounds peculiar but my mother passed in September 2007 after tragic year of suffering from Alzheimer and Bile Duct Cancer. Those months prior to her passing I was required to do a lot of lifting of her in and out of bed. Because of this I developed a severe back problem that included sciatic nerve pain. I tried all sorts of treatments ranging from my daughter walking on my back, hanging from door tops for traction, fancy back braces, heating packs, dangerous pain killer drugs, MRIs that were not definitive, and 4 months of physical therapy. There were weekends from Friday to Sunday that I would just lay around and watch football all weekend long. Not until I started a walking program of 2 miles a day did I begin to see improvement. Two Months later MY BACK PAIN LEFT!!! Today I’m feeling stiffness and some pain…is it the long periods of sitting that is causing it. And the lack of exercise and the gain of about 15 lbs. with a 42 ” gut!!! I would be very appreciative of your program so that I CAN CHANGE MY LIFE AROUND!!!

I believe this program could do wonders for my life and improve the quality of my life with husband and my younger kids sporting events.

I have spent much time and money with my chiropractor and orthopedic surgeon.
I spend a lot of time in the field and my back pain inhibits my ability to work and enjoy life. I am pretty good at taking a protocol and applying it to see improvement. Let me try yours!

I’m 25 years old and I just started exercising regularly. I just noticed weird back pain, which I initially thought was pain due to my back being used again and/or started to gain decent posture.

However the pain is sticking with me. I need to exercise it and stretch it every other day for it to just feel close to normal. I would love to gain knowledge of a system which can help me in the long run. I guess I have a lot of years left and getting a solution to my back pain would really help me.

I have seen some of your videos and I find them really helpful. I hope this package will be just as helpful. Keep up the good work.

I would love absolutely love to have this product to be able to compete in sports and maybe even powerlifting competitions once again. Since I suffered a herniated disc in high school I’ve been unable to compete in sports, which is something I live and breathe for. In short competitor is my life but because of an inability to trust my body, I’ve had to put a hold on sports the last couple years, as well as having trouble to complete certain tasks like yard work. Since being in college my greatest ambition is to compete in and win an MMA match but have not been able to begin training yet due to my back injury. I’ve been looking forward to this as way to satisfy my need for competition as well as my passion for training and pushing myself to the absolute limits emotionally, physically, and mentally. Being unable to do somewhat made me depressed but I know I’ll eventually be able to find a way to compete without fear of injury and I think you’re product is the answer. I’ve tried a couple other programs to relieve my symptoms which helped buy haven’t allowed me to squat and perform other exercises fully, something this program I hope can do.

8 months ago I was diagnosed with a ruptured disc in my lower back and since then have been unable to work, excercize, or even play with my son!! After reviewing your program, i trully believe that it could give me back the freedom and pain free life i used to have!!! I have tried many other programs over the past months, & have very little if any success with any of them. It is my hope that you will consider my story for entry in your contest, & would be happy to promote your product should it succeed in helping my situation..

Hi I really think think this program would benifit me in my personal activities of daily living. One does not really have a life to be living properly and funtionaly at a high level, if one does not have freedom from pain on their back. I imagine myself living in a back-pain free world where I do not have to go bearing this torture any longer. If I could just experience the key secrets to the FIX MY BACK PROGRAM, then it would be a true honor to continue learning from you with your other program worth more than purchasing. I do hope I can be a goof testimony to many. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

I teach a HIIT workout class. I’m always careful about the workouts I choose. I have been listening to your videos and find them very helpful. I love teaching these classes and want to make sure I’m giving them the best instruction. Everyone is always telling me what ales them, so it is always good to have good advice and techniques to share with them. Plus, I really don’t want to injure myself….then I can’t teach the classes.

I am a 67 yr. old retired RN who has suffered with back pain since my late 20’s, when I herniated a disc while caring for an 18 yr. old near-drowning victim. After an extreme exacerbation of my back pain 5 years ago, I retired early at age 62. My goal is to use the Fix My Back Pain system to become stronger in my elder years so that I can participate more fully in life and the lives of my husband, children and grandchildren. I also have generalized osteoarthritis, and am certain that making my back stronger will help all my joints function better. My husband and two sons have back issues as well, and I’m hoping to share my knowledge with them and enable them to live fuller, more pain-free lives. Knowledge=strength=power!

I am a wellness coach and constantly come across clients with back pain, but recently I discovered that I have been living with scoliosis, which left me with a rotated pelvis and several muscle imbalances. Over time I’ve experienced more and more low back pain, very little ‘give’ or flexibility in the lower lumbar spine and sacrum, ‘aching’ in the thoracic spine and tightness in the neck/cervical spine. Possibly due to the neck issues I have been fighting chronic elbow tendonitis for 3 years, for which I recently ordered your ‘Fix My Elbow Pain’ and ‘Muscle Imbalances Revealed’ programs. Now I’m hopeful that your ‘Fix My Back Pain’ program could be the final piece of my restorative functional jigsaw, as well as providing a valuable and reliable program to refer my clients to.

I have had at least 26 major surgeries. I was born with or contracted spinal meningitis. I had my first surgery when I was 4 months old. In the process of having all these surgeries they have caused a lot of damage. The summer that I got out of the third grade I had 3 surgeries, one in which I ended up being paralyzed on the right side, both arms, and both legs, then I had another surgery which I ended up being paralyzed on the left side both arms and both legs. My paralyzes lasted close to 3 months. I am 49 years old and I still live with some of the effects caused
    by this.
When I was in the sixth grade I had a bone taken out of my head, before I got out of the hospital, they did a spinal tap which resulted in my having a warm spot in the middle of my back. About 3months after I had the spinal tap I started having pain where I had never had it before. My arms and legs started hurting, my back started hurting and my hips. I still have all this residual pain even now. I still keep trying to get past these pains, I dream of the day when I can run around the track like a normal person should be able to. I realize I am 49 years old and probably most people wouldn’t even be trying to run at all.
I have been told most, my life, to not do this or not do that, I guess, because of what could happen, such as getting injured in some way because my body doesn’t function that well.
    I think young, I don’t think about what I can’t do, I focus on what I can’t do.

This would be something that would help relieve not only my lower back pain, but that of my mother and close friend who competes in triathlons. I have tried addressing core training and some strength training to help with lower back pain and gotten some relief but the prospect of a complete system by Rick Kaselj sounds really promising and also being a previous customer of his imbalances revealed series, I know that not only will the solutions work but that production will be top notch as well. My mom is older and her back pain limits movement and training options, as for my friend, he has issues with discs in his lumbar spine so I am hoping I could also help him with this program. I am really hoping to get chosen. Thanks for reading.

I’ve been in the military for about 18 years and am not eligible for retir yet. I’m required to take a pt test once or twice a year, depending on score. I recently hit my 40th birthday, but my back , along with my hips, hip flexors, and IT bands to say the least have given me problems for a while. So much so that I spent about six months looking for a good massage therapist, which I now have. I’m not ready to retire any time soon, but fear that if my body continues giving me aches and pains, I may decide to retire sooner than I’d like. I workout most days every week, but do plan for recovery days. It seems as I get older my body wnts to break down. Winning this program would be just what I need to keep from wasting lots of money on therapist or reetiring way too soon.

I had hip surgery for FAI impingement 2 years ago and still experiencing pain, both in my hips as well as lumbar region. My lumbar had lost all ROM due to the hip situation.

I am not going back into surgery and looking to explore all other viable options to reshape the area (externally and internally) and heal it.

With the help of acupuncture and my chiropractor I have been able to stay a step ahead of my lower back spasming. When I was 18 years old I “tweeked” my back while doing cable rows. At that time I didn’t have access to a chiropractor or acupuncturist so It took a long time to get it back to “normal.” I stayed away from cable row, squats, and dead lifts in my routine for quite awhile, but eventually I tried them again and again injured my lower back. Now, literally decades later, while I do use the cable row, squats, and dead lifts in my workout routine, it is only with light weights.

Your program would definately help me to finally repair the injury to my lower back and allow me to work with heavier weights.

Good info, since backs are the area most likely to be injured first. Once injured it is then the first area that flails up unless we strengthen it along with our core.

I need access to this information to for the purpose of being able to train hard and setting the example for the young teenage athletes that I coach. This past Saturday as I was trying to demonstrate a few exercises and drills for my athletes in a group session I felt my back tighten up and begin to hurt. I was able unable to demonstrate the exercise without fighting off extreme pain. At the end of the of the workout the boys wanted to play a some flag football and I played but could not go hard as I would like to run with my back hurting so bad.I have been dealing with this pain for so long by either trying natural anti-inflammatory meds, popping ibuprofen by the handfull, or just getting through the day and looking for a couch to lay on. None of these methods have worked so far. I preach and use to demonstrate how important it is for my athletes to train hard. Fortunately I have descent genetics so I still “look the part” somewhat for now, but I dont FEEL the part anymore. I need this program to get back to training and by improving my quality of life physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually and in the process RE-SETTING the example for my young athletes. Thanks guys.

Hi, I could really benefit from the fix my back pain program. I am a former university football player and I had a really bad back injury my junior year. The team doctors at SFU talked about surgery and cutting my spinal cord and said I may never play football again. I did everything the team doctors and trainers asked for three months after my junior season and still couldn’t touch my toes. My research and refusal to accept surgery as an option lead me to acupuncture. Acupuncture really helped and I was able to play for four more years but I definitely lost some flexibility and mobility from the injury.
I am currently a high school teacher and football coach in Ontario. I also have two young children which means I am very busy and on my feet the large majority of the day. Once in a while my low back will tighten up and force me miss a week or two of workouts. When this happens I will change up my ‘core training’ program avoid deadlifts for a few weeks. Admittingly, I don’t go to a physiotherapist because of past experience and just don’t see that working to heal me. If I won a copy of your program I would immediately begin using it and documenting any changes. I am
Curious if my flexibility, mobility improves as a result; it also makes me womder if my deadlift will go back over 500 pounds. I would also write you am awesome testomonial and email you upon completion of your program.

    Thank you for considering me

    Hi,

I have been working as a personal trainer for 4 years. During this time I have been struggling with a serious psiatic nerve problem due to an accident. This situation has been an issue in my career as there are days that I cannot even walk into the gym or if I manage to work I look so uncomfortable no one would really be interested in training with me. Back back is so prevalent it seems 70-80% of the members have some issue with back pain. I was hoping this program could help me and I could use this education to help so many others.

    Thank you,

At the moment, I’m not suffering from chronic back pains but I do struggle regularly with a tight lower back and annoying trigger points in the upper back. These regularly interrupt my sleep and comfort when lying down.

The tight lower back also ends up limiting my deadlifts and squats due to me trying not to push too much and end up straining something. Judging by my body, I can see myself struggling with back issues as I age due to flexibility.

All this to say, I’m interested in this program because I believe knowledge is power and I must be prepared for future.

Thank you for the hard work putting this program together and hope it becomes the knew mainstream back pain fix on the internet.

Thanks for making this opportunity available.

I am now in my second year of pretty constant pain from back injuries sustained in two rear-end freeway auto accidents I sustained in the Spring and late Summer in 2011. Because of the injuries, I have had to substantially limit my very active lifestyle, which has left me ferry frustrated. In the summers here in the Northwest I like to climb (Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, etc.), hike, kite board, cycle, and play a little golf, including an annual “boys trip” where we play six rounds of golf in 4 days in Sunriver, OR. In the winters, I like to snowshoe and ski (hard). For the past two summers, I’ve been limited to no climbing (carrying a pack is a challenge, and I don’t want to put my climbing partners at risk if something goes wrong), day hikes where I don’t need to carry much more than a water bottle, indoor cycling (road vibrations create a lot of discomfort pretty quickly), and have been unable to attend the golf trip, something I’d done annually for a decade. I’ve been unable to ski at anything above a moderate level and snowshoeing can cause problems because of torquing when walking on uneven snow.

I have had steroid shots, acupuncture treatments, massage, and physical therapy, all of which provided only temporary relief. Regular yoga (limited twisting) has helped a little, but I feel like I’ve reached a plateau and am VERY frustrated. Doctors have recommended surgery, but that’s the last thing I want to try. Both my father and grandfather had back surgery after sustaining injuries and in both cases they were worse off and suffered significantly throughout the rest of their lives. There has to be another method to address the pain that is so significantly diminishing my quality of life by lImiting what I can do with friends and preventing me from being in the physical condition I’m accustomed to.

    Please HELP.

The benefits, potentially, could be immeasurable. As a trainer, there is a huge physical stress on the body – which is normal. Now imagine multiplying this stress by 1,000 because I’m missing my L4/L5 disk (stenosis and flattened disks aside). Fixing my back pain will allow me to continue transforming my clients’ lives!

I had 3 low back surgeries when I was 36 years old. Now at 48, I am a competitive powerlifter and I know a strong, healthy back is critical to continuing to compete. Coming out from under a 600 pound squat, my thoracic spine aches. I am consistently working my entire back but the stiffness and pain never seems to go away. I love lifting big weight and know I have years more to lift if I can stay healthy but the pain I feel after a heavy squat day make me plan retiring from powerlifting – which is not something I want to do for a long time. Fixing my back would be incredible and allow me to lift even bigger numbers through my 50s and maybe into my 60s.

My wife is 59.5 years old. Two years ago she fractured two thoracic vertebrae. She is moving into the osteoporosis stage based on her recent dexa scan. Despite the fact I am a certified personal trainer, RKC/Strong First instructor, TRX instructor and nationally certified Asian bodywork therapist, I have not been able to get her moving. I need help and, more importantly, she needs help. I’ve looked at your other materials and like your approach. I’d like to give your program a go for her. Thanks.

As a former professional baseball player (AA level) my back pain started early. It has always been a bothersome since HS and college, but it was as at the pro level that if finally gave up. I had one swing and my back popped and I thought that it was just odd until the next day. I could not even bend to touch my kneecaps. When I tried to run to warm-up it felt like I had a steel 2×4 tied to my back. Years later I felt something slip in my back during a workout, the chiropractor who saw me asked me “Have you been in a major accident?”. He said he has never seen this kind of trama to a back before unless it was an accident. Here recently I have been battling my back again. Out of the blue it started hurting and for the past 4 years I have been trying to stretch, exercise, yoga, chiropactor, massage, arrositi, no exercise. You name I have been trying it. My back has improved but I am getting tired of it not feeling better or norma.. And am willing to try something new if it will improve my back.

I remember the night it happened many years ago. I was lifting the mop bucket the same way I had a hundred times before. But this time I felt the ripple go up my back. For 2 weeks I couldn’t even lift my newborn son. My back has never been the same since that night.
Then two years ago it happened again. I knelt down to tie my shoe and my wife found me on the floor 25 minutes later, unable to get up. 2 months of physical therapy, but it is still not 100%. Yes I work out. Yes the pain is there off and on. I would like to turn it off PERMANENTLY!!

I am 42 years old, and by all appearances healthy, fit, and in the best shape of my life. The reality is I have been struggling with increasingly severe back pain since an ATV accident left me nearly paralyzed when I was 18. After a week in the hospital and months of therapy I was told I would never regain full strength in my back, and as one of the “therapists” told me, would never be a real man. At 18 that was more painful to hear than the accident itself.
After years of seeking help from medical doctors who threw drug after drug at me, physical therapists who put me on ineffectual geriatric exercise programs, and hundreds of chiropractor visits getting no lasting relief, I decided to take matters into my own hands and defy the doctor’s words. I took to weight lifting and bodybuilding, and though I am getting stronger and finally becoming the man I was told I could never be, the pain in my back continues to be a problem. It is affecting my workouts, my daily routine, and my sleep to the point that I am always tired at work, and can’t recover fully from lifting so my progress has slowed to a crawl.
I am hopeful that your program may be what I’ve been looking for these 25 years. If it can truly do what you say, I will be the loudest voice shouting from the mountain tops that Fix My Back Pain has changed my life. I sincerely hope it does!

i am a diabetic patient who has been hospitalized twice , first time when i was diagnosed with a sugar blood count of 875 and the second with a ketoacidosis attack and very high blood sugar count as well . Never have had any other medical systematic problems before . My new doctor is a combination MD/holistic doctor and we are working on eradicating or at least getting the best control of my ailment as i can , but he wants me to exersize and i am afraid because my chiropractor Xrayed my spine and found that my lumbar is curved the wrong way and the bottom lumbar vertebrae , where it meets the sacrum is slid 2 inches forward .He assures me that its been like that for more than 25 years and that surgery would be too dangerous at this point .I also suffered from sciatic pain but somehow a good chiropractor many years ago and my intuitive removal of my wallet from my back pocket completely removed that pain .I would like to be able to exersize safely without the worry of literally breaking my back . I think your program can help me exersize safely and therefore reduce or even eliminate my diabetes worries . thank you for listening

Rick, why is it that when I am working out consistently that I have a whole lot less back pain and problems with my back? this seems a little strange to me, but I have seen it over and over with my own back pain; Thanks,Grant

      Grant,

You end up activating, improving endurance and building strength in muscles that support the back.

Movement is the key and exercise is an example of movement.

A few years ago my dad started having pain in his left leg, below his knee. I think it was a sciatica problem. He had a bulged disk in his back, and got surgery to trim it, but the surgery made it worse, the pain was now from his hip down his leg. Now he has trouble activating the muscles in his calf and foot. There is a huge muscle imbalance. He has tried a lot of different physical therapies and hasn’t found answers, so he’s been trying to experiment with rehabbing himself.
I’ve done a lot of self-education about health and fitness, and I’ve also been trying to find information to help him. I have found a few helpful things here and there, and they help, but it’s not a cure.
I would love for him to be healthy so he can get back into the working world. Now that my brother and I are college age, he can have time to pursue his own goals instead of taking care of us. He’s given me so much in life and I’d love to be able to help him with something significant.
I’m also looking to become a trainer, so this information would be helpful for myself and future clients, friends, etc. There are a lot of crappy products out there but I’m hopeful that this is what I’ve been looking for. I like the idea of knowing what I’m talking about, and this will help me learn.

I have back pain off and on due to a work related injury many years ago. After my most recent episode of severe pain I was admitted to the ER and found that I have two herniated disks in my lower back . Through the process of my rehab, I was advised that many of the activities that I love to do are not recommended anymore . I love to be active and workout. I am weary of what I should and should not do.

    Dear folks,

Thank you for your “Fix My Back Pain” program. Both my daughter and I worked out at a gym for about a year, and both of us had to stop going because of intermittent back pain of my part (older age and arthritis) and consistent lower back pain with my daughter after an injury about 15 years ago.. We are both working on weight loss programs. The diet part is working very well, but the exercise segments are keeping us from working as we need to in order to make the total program work. I enjoy exercising, walking, cycling, and working with light weights for upper body and arms. My daughter jogs and cycles, but is afraid to do much more than that because of making her back hurt. She has a full body massage every month, and I accompany her every 2-3 months. This helps to relieve the pain, but only for short periods of time. I believe that your program will help us both to retrain our bodies to work in the manner in which they were intended. We will be purchasing the program when it is available (if we do not win) because we both feel that this is something that can help us both. There are several areas in your program description that hits our target areas right on the spot, such as, working the lumbar region from the inside out, and dealing with injury specific exercises. We are looking forward to the release of “Fix My Back Pain” activities.

I would really like to have a copy of this program for my wife. She has had back surgery and various PT routines but still suffers from back pain regularly, to the point that is has affected her work, the ability to interact with our grand kids and especially the times we schedule to get away and have some fun. I would do the program with her to help keep her motivated until the “Fix my Back Pain” program just became a part of our lifestyle. This would help improve or even totally heal my wife’s back issues and ensure I don’t suffer any back pain as I grow older as well. It would be super great to be in our 50’s & 60’s, which is where we are now and feel like we were in our 30’s. thanks, Joe

This product looks excellent and I’m very excited to see it! It’s hard to briefly explain everything I’ve dealt with my back, but basically it’s bothered me off and on for a long time. I’m in college and played basketball competitively my whole life, weight lifted the past 4 years, surf, and overall very active. But I’m tight. I’ve tweaked my back a lot of times, but lately I’ve experienced spasms, and they’re the worst. Anyways, I would love to win this product!

I’ve suffered with lower back, neck and shoulder pain since the mid 90’s when I was involved in two car accidents within 6 months of each other. After the 2nd accident I was on bed rest for a long time having suffered from a prolapsed disc and sciatica. I started to take control of things about 2 yrs ago with regular exercise, but still am affected by the condition, sometimes I’m still laid up for a few days. Something that would help me overcome this chronic problem would be a god send.

I have spina bifida occulta and wasn’t diagnosed until by late 20s when I had severe pain in my left leg. I’ve been able to maintain my condition through exercise, massage, and being careful not to left heavy things. I’m a missionary in Ukraine and travel quite a bit and have four active young boys, which all can be hard on my back. My brother (a missionary and studio musician) recently had disc slip. He does exercises but has not been able to get back to normal. There is so much information out there for back rehab, but nothing has been terribly effective. We would love to get our backs pain-free and be more effective in our line of work. I have other family members with back problems. I have quite a few fellow missionaries I know as well as people we minister to that have back problems. It would be great to be able to provide them with helpful information. There is a one-year-old in our church that has spina bifida and the parents would be very grateful to get him some help and see him walk. Being missionaries it would be awesome to get this system for free!

    Hi Mike and Rick,
I’m nearly 53 and never been great at exercising regularly but have recently started getting back into it as I realise it’s not only important for physical health but also mental health as I get older. I put my back out a few days ago. It’s getting better, but it’s the second time it’s happened in a couple of years with the same result, so I’m concerned that’s a weak spot and next time it could be more serious. I’m also expecting my first grandchild at the end of the month and will be looking after the baby when my daughter-in-law goes back to work, so it will be important to understand my back & strengthen it in the appropriate way.

    Hi guys,

I would love to win a copy of Fix My Back Pain. I am 51 years old and have been lifting weights for about 7 years. I never saw any dramatic results until I started working with Shawna Kaminski online. She has totally revolutionized the way I work out and the kind of results I get. My workouts have become the highlight of my day, week, life!

Everything was going along fine till this past May when I was involved in a car accident. It was a disaster for the cars, but at the time it seemed like “no one was hurt.” However, soon after the accident I started having increasing lower back pain. After meds, that seemed to have gone away, but in June my shoulder started bothering me and by July I couldn’t lift my arm over my head, and workouts were becoming difficult. By early September I could not work out at all. A sonogram shows that I have a bit of tendinitis in the shoulder. Now, in October, the pain in my lower back has come back, worse than ever.

It seems like since the accident I have entered into a downward spiral of pain. Rather than turning to meds again and again, I would really love to try your program and see if I can break the cycle. Thanks for considering me for your giveaway!

In addition to being a full-time university student, I’m an employee. My job requires me to be on my feet throughout my 9-hour shift that at the end of the day I feel like my back is being twisted. I also perform shows as a latin dancer, which requires me to lift women (using back muscles) and the pain just gets worse. At the gym I can barely work my back muscles because I’m in a lot of pain so I usually skip these exercises. Stretching doesn’t really cut it, and I’ve been searching online for solutions but every website contradicts the other. Fixing this issue will help in eliminating the pain I deal with everyday, make work less daunting, and possibly help me become a better performer! 🙂

Firstly let me just say “thank you”, I am looking forward to getting my hands on this one way or another. I am a 40 year old woman who was extremely active. In the last two years I have been driving mining dump trucks for 12 hr periods and have noticed a marked reduction in my back mobility. The stiffness and soreness in my lower back make it unbearable to try and be active again. As I have previously ordered your shoulder program (which works!!!) I am desperate to get your back program, and get myself to healthy state again. My partner also has back issues and your program would be an excellent tool for both of us.. Again thank you for the shoulder program and now thank you for the opportunity to fix my back pain..

I have had back pain for close on fourty years now and had generally learned to live with it and compensate with how I do things. When things got really bad I have sort help though all sorts of ways and only once ever had relief that lasted more than a couple of weeks. I work two jobs the first which requires sitting for up to 12 hours (I try to take a 15 min walk in my lunch break weather permitting) and the second requires being on the move and heavy lifting for nine hours at a time (I am very careful about how I lift these days). Both jobs cause major pain constantly now and I have developed sciatica as well so my sleep is disturbed as I can’t roll over without the pain waking me. I alternate weight training with yoga but struggle with both because the pain is particularly bad at the moment. I need to get on top of this so that I can stay fit to be able to enjoy gardening and the phyical pass times I once did.

In my early 40s, I find that I am experiencing more frequent back pain. Occasionally, it takes me out of work. I’m pretty sure that a combination of weak core muscles and decreased flexibility in my hamstrings is to blame. No amount of toe touching stretches is helping.

A healthy back is one of the essentials for a healthy lifestyle as it helps a person to build a good posture. It will also be beneficial during training sessions as it would lead to better results and performance. I believe this system will provide excellent information to me and able to help those around me with back issues. There is a higher tendency of back injury for those who weight train so having a good understanding and how to strengthen the back will serve them very much.

    Thanks.

How would removing a 100 pound weight from your shoulders improve your life? Well, that’s what eliminating my back pain would do for me.

I’ve lived 67 active years, and I want to keep active for as long as I can despite a total knee replacement, three laminectomies and a fused neck, all the result of past sports injuries..

I’ve learned over the years that I’m not qualified to train myself, so I am currently working with a personal trainer twice a week. I need a comprehensive program like yours to combine personal training with a program that I can implement myself both at home and in the gym at least four days a week or even daily.

    Move it or lose it!

But I don’t want to gave up and ready to listen and maybe consider any program that can help.

I’ve been a strength and conditioning coach for twenty-seven years and was also a scholarship football player for Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. In all, I played football competitively for twelve years. I have had two laser surgeries, one on my c4, c5, and c6 vertebra in my neck and the second surgery on my L3, L4, and L5 on my lower lumbar. From time to time I have lower back pain yet, I still try to rehab it so I can be active and stay healthy in order to serve the students I coach. I believe your DVD will help keep my back healthy and rid my back pain, so that I can continue to coach and teach my students for the next twenty years, going into my seventies. I love strength and conditioning and the fact that I can help so many students at Sussex Technical High where I have been coaching for last 18 years. Your DVD will help keep my passion alive.

    Hi Rick,

I began strength training approximately 6 years ago and LOVE it! It wasn’t long after I began to train that I developed chronic pain in my left knee, as well as my lower back. After a year and a half of diagnostic testing, it was finally determined that both conditions were secondary to undiagnosed injuries I sustained while serving on active duty almost 20 years ago. I then spent the next year and a half receiving treatments, to include a specially designed orthopedic cast and extensive physical therapy. I have since been cleared to begin training again. Unfortunately, I have not been able to train pain free and, although improved, I continue to experience issues with both my lower back and left knee (I would also love this same opportunity to win Fix My Knee Pain!). I have paid out of pocket for chiropractic care, ART, acupuncture, massage, etc. I attend yoga classes and incorporate palliates into my training as well. What I really want to be doing (I never imagined I’d be saying this) is to lift weights! I am the mother of three “almost” grown children and would like nothing more than to remind my kiddos that if you want something bad enough, you must make it happen for yourself. I’m searching high and low for the answer to living and training pain free. I believe Fix My Back Pain is just what I’ve been looking for.

    Sincerely,

Sorry for the typo. Pilates, not palliates.

I don’t need this for myself, but for the man I’ve recently started seeing. He’s had chronic low back pain associated with two degenerated discs in his lumbar spine for the past six months that has drastically reduced his quality of life, in turn affecting the quality of our budding relationship. He has been getting slowly better during the six weeks of our dating – I’m a massage therapist, and have been working with him to alleviate the soft tissue trauma, and giving him a few exercises to do recommended by a PT friend. I’ve even gone so far as to tinker with his nutrition, focusing on an anti-inflammatory diet and green vegetable juicing to support his body’s efforts to heal itself. But what he most wants to do, and what I think would eliminate his pain issues, is getting back in the gym and attaining his former level of fitness in a manner that will not only not exacerbate his low back problems, but address the weaknesses and inefficiencies that caused his problems in the first place. I believe your system would be ideal for this.

I often get both upper and lower back pain due to being SO overweight. I find it very hard to get back into resistance training because a lot of the exercises seem to not be very good for me at my current weight. I would love to learn how to perform exercises to relieve my back pain and get me closer to other exercises for my weight loss goals.

    Thanks guys

    Jason

Hi Rick Thanks for offering this up to win.10 years ago after a storm here in central Ontario , I was catapulted 23 feet in the air and 17 feet back from an oak tree Y shaped limb that sprung up on me as I cut the last branch of the Y. I didn’t realize a pine had been blown over a bit and was putting pressure on the end of the limbs. I landed with my knees bent as 15 years prior I had shattered my right patella playing ball hockey and 2 years later cracked my left. I felt a “twinge” in my back as I barrel rolled after contact with the ground – all rock of course. I then bear crawled out into the water [ we were on an Island ] Took the 15 minute boat ride and 1/2 hour car ride to the hospital. I had a compression fracture of my L1. I now have a permanent wedge shaped L1 and low back spasms, I have to take cyclobenzaprine before bed and i own shares in Ben Gay. I have had to slow down and have packed on too much blub adding to the problem. It makes it hard to play with the grand kids and exercise efficiently. Thanks Stephen

I have dealt with back pain daily (since June of 1997) from a compression injury sustained while serving with the Marines. Look forward to reading and reviewing more about this pivotal and evidence based Back specific program. Thank you for all you do Rick!

I used to be a runner. five miles a day every day. Now, I can’t run or even walk for too long or my back will start hurting. Recently, I stared an exercise routine that included jumping jacks, running/walking in place and mountain climbers. I know. High impact. But I am eager to get back in shape. Needless to say after about three weeks, my back started to hurt and I had to stop. Then start with the ice . . . etc. I am 51 years young. I want to get back in shape and need the cardio. In addition, I sleep poorly. Having no back pain would be a tremendous blessing!

Hey there, I am really excited about these videos because I’ve had lower back pain for about 10 years now. It has always come and gone, but it really hasn’t gone anywhere in the past 6 months, since I really amped up my workouts. 2 MRI’s later, bulging discs with an annular tear, and not much improvement from the chiropractor…. I’m an avid workout-aholic, I’ve been training 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day, and I’m actually supposed to be taking it more easy than I am, but I love working out so much that I’ve been sort of working through the pain, stretching, icing, etc… I would especially like to get back to running, I recently tried sprint intervals for only 30 minutes and had back pain for the following 2 weeks. I am hopeful that these videos will work, and I’d love to try them!!

I would not have any idea of how this would fix my LBP but I am always hopeful. I would be grafeful for any instructions or tips which would come from a demo like this.

I am open for new ideas.

I have back pain of all kinds, and usually I am able to deal with it. However, it has been the result of several untreated injuries that my muscles are now imbalanced, and you know what happens then….more back pain!

I have found that with the freebie videos you send to your subscribers, Rick, I have picked up a few tricks to relieve pain fairly quickly – and these are very simple exercises that I have not seen anyone else provide.

So…thank you for your help so far – I look forward to what you’ve got coming for us!

Having lived with spondylolisthesis all my life, and now, at 60, the vertebral “slippage” is increasing – and I don’t like the prospect of surgery! All other “back programs” uses moves and exercises that aggravate this condition. Yours might be the only one I’ve found that addresses this condition. I want it!

I’m 58 years old and have sat behind a desk for almost 30 years, which I know now is about the worst thing a person can do for their back. I decided about 9 months ago that I was tired of feeling weak, old, and tired and that I was going to change my life. I started researching weight training because I wanted to get stronger, decided on a program and stared working. My life has definitely changed for the better. I feel stronger, and younger, and have dropped 20+ pounds. But sometimes I won’t be paying attention, my form will slip a bit, and my back will freak out. I then have to stop my routine until my back calms down. I don’t expect a miracle from your program but if it could help me stabilize my back so I wouldn’t be going through this starting and stopping of my exercise routine, it would be a huge help.

Well, I’m 67, retired Army, Airborne-Ranger-SF. Combat wounded. Got several hundred parachute jumps, couple of aircraft crashes, dragged through the trees in a MacGuire rig, jumping out of helicopters at 30 feet with 100lb ruck on my back, ran marathons, heck, I had a great time!
I took my baby (of 6) to the chiropractor once because he was doing strange stretches while playing baseball. They asked “what about your back” I told them what I’d done and we knew I had problems, but I’d just come and see them when it really hurt again……wasn’t long.
I moved, my chiropractor referred me to the Association president. They x-rayed my back and told me I’d have the younger chiropractor. I hear the docs discussing my x-ray in their office, young one says “his back is a mess”. Older one says, “you’re right, I’ll take him”.
    But, got some great memories!
